This gallery lends space to a number of local artists. You can find almost every style of painting and photography from portraiture to impressionism to still life. Lots of homage to Brooklyn cityscapes and this area of upstate NY. There was also a small section of jewelry and sculpture/pottery I also found it to be a fairly reasonably priced gallery. Art is always expensive, given the love and labor involved, but the work was reasonably priced and tempting to take home. There was nothing that we quite fell in love with, so we passed for today, but would definitely continue to stop in again.
As is true with most of the shops in the area, the staff were standoffish and did not greet us. It's hard to say what to do with that.

I believe in this beautiful space and business model so much that I joined the board. It is a must see if you are in town or make it a point to attend one of the many events like our upcoming $100 for 100 event-visit the website for details. Next time you are heading to town for a movie or dinner be sure to put this stop on your list!

Lovely village location...great venue for local artists to display their works. The Gallery has great special events featuring regional artists and it's just a beautiful place to spend a leisurely day checking out creatives in the area.

I enjoyed my visit to the Gallery during the Sinterklass celebration.
The walls are lined with local artists from the surrounding area and there is some unique art being featured. Some of the artists do rotate their art in the shop and you have to talk to the Gallery manager for details.
What's nice is they let you walk around without being pushy to sell to you. They also had an open house during the Sinterklass celebration and had complimentary hot chocolate and coffee for the patrons which I thought was a nice touch.

Came to Rhinebeck for the upstate ambience and was enlightened when I came across the Rhinebeck Gallery. The gallery space itself is in a gorgeous building with high ceilings and the energy is electrifying. A variety of different art mediums and amazing artists. It's centrally located in the middle of town. The staff were very helpful and informative and had many details to share.

A well lit and well located gallery. I was eating outside at Bread Alone and noticed the gallery's open back door. Very convenient. A variety of work and artists, mainly local. The piece I liked was a bit more than I was hoping to spend, and the owner immediately called the artist, and we agreed on a price--all in 15 minutes.
Definitely worth a trip.
