If you are within one hundred miles of Raquette Lake, strongly recommend that you make time for this adventure. Numerous different cruises around the Lake of various time intervals. And some of these tours around the Lake include a buffet meal plus drinks and alcohol for extra cash. It is very reasonable and very enjoyable. Lots of history is given by the founder of the cruise (by tape) of various houses and artifacts around this roughly three mile by six-mile lake and the various houses and structures built on the edge of the Lake.
This is a family-run business; run very well. Very safe, great food, excellent tour. What more could you ask for. Recommended very highly with no reservations.
But by the way, suggest you call ahead to make reservations.....really needed given the demand to get on the ship.

My wife, adult son and I went on the Raquette Lake Cruise boat for a Saturday afternoon "Beer, Barbecue and Blues" cruise, early in September. The crowd was diverse and friendly; the buffet food was quite delicious, way beyond our expectations. We're not beer drinkers, but those that tried the many choices available seemed very pleased.
The cruise was two and half hours long, allowing us to view the camp-lined shores of this lovely lake in the Adirondacks. The surrounding scenery was picture perfect; the guitarist/singer was a terrific addition to a beautiful day. The staff were cordial and helpful.
And all this for a very affordable ticket price. I would strongly recommend any one of the Raquette Lake Navigation Company's available cruises.

We recently went on a lunch cruise on Raquette Lake. The food was delicious and servers friendly and attentive! It’s a wonderful cruise with amazingly prepared food, an interesting audio tour of the houses, camps, etc located on the shore of the lake, and a welcoming staff.
I would recommend putting the Raquette Lake cruise on your “bucket list” so not to be missed while visiting the breathtaking Adirondacks!

What a great experience this was. The entire organization all seem on the same page. The tour of Racquette Lake was a history lesson in itself. I was a bit concerned that four hours on a boat would be a bit constrained but the time flew by. We had cocktails and a cheese board on the upper deck. Both were excellent. The prime rib and salmon served down in the main cabin were superb and the service was noteworthy for its attentiveness. Restaurant owners these days lament the difficulty in finding competent, reliable help but the Pohl family has obviously solved that problem. This too. No paper plates here. No plastic either. There’s linen on the table. I can’t say enough about how impressed I was. My three guests were all food industry veterans of many years. They notice the little things right away and were amazed how how coordinated and professional the staff were. It’s a four course meal and they did not miss a beat. If you’re in the Adirondacks and looking for a unique way to see a beautiful lake then get on this boat. It’s just a flat out great time.

Family run business. The menu was well planned out with good flavors and pairings. Non alcoholic beverages are included with a full cash bar also. The ship is well maintained and clean. The tour also includes a lot of history of the lake and great views with a map to follow along. Nice touches all around.

Great service, food, and shoreline! Even though it was a rainy and gloomy evening, this experience was well worth it. The entire cruise is very professional and run by a family who has owned the business for decades (though now in the hands of siblings of the original owners). They take great pride and care in their service, hospitality, food, and "jabber" about the cruise from the captain. Our scallops were excellent (but the pork looked great too). Highly recommend.

The Food Alone was worth the trip. The scenery is magnificent and the history abounds. This is a family run business and they take pride in everything the do.
We had the rack of lamb and it was cooked to perfection by a CIA trained chef who happens to be the son.
If you're up that way and want to have a very relaxing time with good food, dont miss this.

This is the second time we took a lunch tour; the last time was 2 years ago. Very well operated; spotless vessel and an excellent script used during the tour to highlight areas of significance around the large lake. Staff was outstanding. Food was rather average but thoroughly enjoyable. Free lemonade, iced tea and coffee. Alcohol is available for an added charge. Very nice upper deck for viewing the scenery; not a bad seat in the house! Thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

My wife and I took the Prime Rib dinner cruise and couldn't have been happier with it. The food and service were fantastic and the views outstanding. I would recommend this cruise to anyone who would like to try something different. The past owners were running the show the night we went and they were great people. They made you feel welcome and wanting to come back. Thank you!!

Great 2 hour lunch cruise! Boat is comfortable and well maintained. They have a fully stocked bar. It’s a family business with dad as the boat captain. All staff were friendly and professional.
The history narration was great. He didn’t talk non stop making it possible to converse with others yet hear about the history from time to time. Highly recommend.

I'm just wondering when you offer your tours? I note October seems to be the common month, no doubt to capture the Fall colours, but wondered if you offer any in the month of March as well?
Thank you
