This is a great way to see Raquette Lake. The narration was excellent. He explained the sights, homes and the history of the lake and town. Definitely well done in every way. We were the 2 PM scenic cruise but spoke with many people who raved about the gourmet dinner on board.

When in the area, this dinner cruise should be considered. Pricey for what you get but the settings is very good. Food is good. Dining is crampped and it can be very hot if there is no air circulation. Narration of the lake's history is interesting for the famous people who owned camps on the lake.

We did the Sunday brunch cruise. The food was delicious and plentiful, the drinks as well. The staff was so friendly and hard working. Please tip the wait staff, the price says it includes gratuity but they work so hard and this is really such a bargain. We had a lovely relaxing ride, and learned so much about the area.

Having recently taken a cruise on lake George, we were unsure whether we would find another cruise as rewarding. However, to our relief, our cruise of lake Raquette on the W.W. Durant was equally as enjoyable and provided us the opportunity to see the many lakeside camps accessible only from the water. The Captain's "down home" narration was light, enjoyable... More

Spent nearly 50 years of summers on Raquette Lake and Captain Dean was just starting up this business when we had ceased coming up to the "woods". He has created such a wonderful attraction for the village and such an opportunity for those who have never had a boat tour of this most beautiful of lakes. He gives such an... More

Perfect day for a cruise on Raquette Lake. Boarded right on time. Only one problem, we had 8 people in our group and we're not allowed to take an whole table. We had to split up and sat with a very strange group. When I was done eating I went up stairs to get away . Meal was wonderful. Excellent... More

I can't begin to recall how many time I have been on the SS Durant. It is always so enjoyable with great food and service plus the historical narration during the cruise. My husband an I are 'locals' somewhat. We live in Chestertown. We try to get out on The Durant once a year. Last trip was June 2015 (currently... More

Raquette Lake is a lovely place to be and your can't ask for more than to have beautiful scenery, knowledgeable stories of the Adirondacks, and great food. All in one evening. Great experience.

I take all my guests on a Raquette Lake Navigation dinner cruise. It is always a great and well-appreciated experience, from the indescribable beauty of the lake, to the delicious and well-prepared food, the courtesy and skill of the staff, the interesting tour commentary, and the "to die for" Bloody Marys." Well done.
