We arrived on October 16 and the fun had been early and the fish far and few between. That said we were able to hunt down and catch several large silvers and a chinook over our 3 day stay.

I've been visiting the Salmon for over 20 years. The state continues making major improvements in both access and in measures to protect it as habitat. The river remains clean and with reasonable flow releases from the upstream dam.
