Hudson Valley NY Hiking, Wineries, Walkway Over the Hudson, luxury hotel- 2 days

The Walkway Over the Hudson is the longest and highest elevated pedestrian bridge in the world! Benmarl Winery is America's oldest Vineyard! When you accompany two of those facts with a cozy historic town to explore with a plentiful amount of restaurants, bars and eateries, you can't go wrong! Don't feel guilty indulging one bit, because you got some exercise in during an amazing hike! Enjoy a moderate to difficult level hike (easier options are available as well), gorgeous hotel accommodations for one night, the famous Walkway Over the Hudson and 2 great local wineries!

•the itinerary order is subject to change due on weather and the transportation mode used to arrive in the area. The itinerary change would always be in the best interest of the guests.

Beautiful campus on the Hudson River. I visited with my daughter as she is a senior in high school. Our tour guide was excellent and gave us a complete tour of the campus even though we could not enter any of the buildings. The campus is laid out well with pathways and lots of well maintained greenery. The campus is right off Rt 9 so there is some traffic noise but it's not disturbing at all. Marist has a great academic program and all the staff and students that we met were helpful, cordial and nice to deal with during our short stay. I would highly recommend a visit to Marist College for folks that are in the area or if you daughter or son has any interest in attending this school.

Great campus to visit with beautiful buildings, a variety of architecture and well groomed grounds. Walk along the river walk on the Hudson and enjoy the beauty of the river.

I came up to the Marist College Campus for the first time after passing it for over twenty years on my way up to Culinary Institute where I went to school. Cornell University where I also attended was playing them for football and what a spectacular little stadium. It is a nice place to watch a game. Just make sure you buy the section with the lawn and not in the stands. The lawn area on a nice day is just nice and relaxing; The stadium is right off Route 9 so you can see what is going on when you drive in. After the game, I took some time and walked around campus. It is the image of a small Eastern school with the rolling hills and old buildings right next to the Hudson River. What a place to go to school!

Beautiful, large college campus outside the city of Poughkeepsie NY. While the college is now private; it was founded by Marist Fathers, an order of Roman Catholic priests. The college sits on 100+ acres and overlooks the Hudson River. Beautiful wooded areas abound and the sites must be spectacular in fall.
