Prompt on timing, fun environment, great views of the city and you ride right up to lady liberty. Can’t beat it for the price!

I called to book a cruise a few weeks ago to ensure I could reserve for two for a special date. The man who answered told me not to book and that it was too early especially for two people. He told me availability would not be a problem. I call back today and guess what? The same man tells me it’s all booked . (For context, I’m still a good 7 weeks out from the date I planned. I am by no means a last minute kind of gal). He didn’t so much as offer to put me on a list for cancellations, offer another date, or apologize after HE ADMITTED he was the one who told me not to book the when I called weeks prior. Their own employee is sole handedly the reason I didn’t book. Every other company is now booked as well and my special occasion is ruined. I have a pretty decent social media following and am sharing my experience with others in the area accordingly!

We Intended to go on the Staten Island Ferry but whilst walking in the area of Battery Park, we were stopped by a ‘runner’ for a different cruise company. He told us that we would see very little of Miss Liberty by going on the Staten Island Ferry due to the mist and the boat not going close enough to her.He persuaded us that for $40 each reduced to $30 each (as we were seniors) to take his trip. We were on the verge of doing so when we thought it was rather a lot of money for one hour on a boat. We then told him that we had changed our minds as by now he was not letting us out of his sight. We decided to check out the trip ourselves and We found that the true price for the trip was $14 each. Never buy from a person on the street regardless how pleasant they appear.

We went on the Liberty Cruise to end of our 3 day stay in New York City. It was the best way and we got to see the famous Lady Liberty Statue. The boat was comfortable and spacious. we were easily about 300 people on board. The Tour guide was informative, however, you could only hear him, when you sat inside the boat. I also had the freedom of moving around the boat to get the best views and photos. There was food available to buy on the boat and all the required amenities. The trip took us almost to the bridge and turned intot the Hudson river and then again around to the bay. It was really value fro your money. The duration was about 2 hours.

Approximately a one hour ride from New York bay to Lady liberty and back, it's an excellent way to see the cityscape and skyline. It gives you an overall view and the lay of the land. A lot of historic landmarks along the way that can be viewed from this cruise. The statue is a majestic creation that will leave you in awe ! Couldnt recommend a better way to view the statue. A must do on your visit to New York !
