Easy and efficient ferry between port jefferson, LI; and bridgeport, CT. A convenietnt way if you are going north and don´t want to go through traffic jam in NY. Ferry goes every 1 hr and takes 1 hr 15 min. Web-site is slow and perhaps not the most modern, but it worked. One of the weekday travel options was not... More

I use the ferry back and forth to visit family in Riverhead, Manorville, Patchogue. It is always on time, relaxing and hands down, much easier than travelling Long Island highways! It saves me just a little time, but the aggravation it saves....priceless!

The ferry company has installed a new reservation system. We weren't pleased with how the system works. It didn't save any time or provide any convenience. They should have left it the way it was.

I think its time replace these old boys! For the amount of money they charge you would think that,at this day and age there would be a more modern fleet of ferries. Howeve the amount of time saved somehow compensates some of the poor appearance.

Always better than the drive around. Try to make a reservation to be sure you get on. I have been left behind on the Bridgeport side several times not having a reservation. The staff is not rude but does not go out of their way to interact with guests.

Boarding and exiting processes where well-managed. And absolutely on schedule. Best thing to do is buy your tickets online, then when you pull up half an hour early (they are not kidding when they say you lose your slot if you miss the half hour cut off) you just show them your phone with your receipt, they scan it and... Took the ferry from Bridgeport to Port Jefferson for July 4th holiday weekend. Staff were very friendly and accommodating .The trip back from NY at 10 pm last ferry was even better than the trip over. Relaxed and had a cocktail in the onboard Lounge
