About
Lilymoore is a unique and special alpaca farm. We offer visitors the amazing opportunity to learn how to walk an alpaca. The program is called Alpaca Buddy and it is a very popular program. Our Behind the Scenes Farm Tours happen every Saturday and Sunday. They are a lot of fun and allow you to interact with all of the animals that call Lilymoore home. Many of our animals are rescue animals that now have forever homes. Check our website for times. We also offer a variety of alpaca products, many which you cannot get anywhere else, which you can purchase at the farm in our store on online. Check our website for hours as they change by season.

Alpaca Love
Jun 2021
Walk an alpaca at the Lilymoore Farm in Pleasant Valley, NY and you can feel the stress melt away. These animals are inquisitive, adorable and they love people.

Then head to Mirbeau in Rhinebeck for an overnight stay with lunch or dinner at the beautiful Bocuse restaurant at the Culinary Institute of America...all three are within an easy drive.

WALKED AN ALPACA ...A GREAT DAY'S ADVENTURE
May 2021
My sister and I had a fantastic time at the farm. We each had an alpaca to walk and a nice hike around the farm. We never knew how wonderful and fun an alpaca could be. We will be back with friends and family!

Trek with Alpacas...Outdoor Fun with Friends & Family
Apr 2021
A wonderful outdoor activity with Family & Friends.
We enjoyed a very enjoyable and informative Tour of the Farm and then a memorable Trek with the Alpacas. It makes for a wonderful outing! Diana has created a magical farm and her daughter Tiffany is incredibly knowledgeable and impressive. Plan on shopping in the Farm Store, too.

Loved walking with Alpacas!
Oct 2020
This was a fabulous experience. The alpacas are such great characters, and are clearly very loved. The farm is beautiful, and so is the farm cat! I thoroughly enjoyed my walk with Honey. To get here, I took the train from Grand Central to Poughkeepsie and then an Uber.

A unique and fun experience!
Nov 2020
Want to do something different and unforgettable? Walk through the woods with an alpaca! This was a very special experience for my girlfriend and I. Diana was a wonderful guide and for us city folk it was interesting to see and hear about how a real farm is run. The alpacas are calm, gentle and cute! As you walk through the woods with them you can feel your troubles draining away.

Easy to get to in a beautiful part of New York, this is something you don't want to miss. We are definitely going back!

Best Alpacas NYC!
Sep 2020
Worth Every Second! Wanting to do something different for the weekend and animal related i searched for the best alpaca farm in nyc and came upon Lilymoores Alpaca Farm. Im so happy i did. A very quick 60 min ride outside NYC and you're there. I was happy that i booked a photoshoot package with the alpacas because it was an up close an personal experience with all of the very sweet animals. I could tell they were taken care of very well. I absolutely fell in love with them and will most certainly be back. I saw so much more during my time there. Beautiful horses, a very adorable pig and some chickens too. I will say the alpacas were my fave and had so much personality! The owner Diane was an absolute joy! Make sure to check out the store before you go. I purchase the coziest blanket thats now dropped across my bed.

This farm is a MUST visit!
Jul 2020
The Alpaca trek is something you must check off your bucket list. I will certainly be revisiting. This picturesque farm is beautifully maintained with happy well cared for animals. Some of which are rescues. Your host/guide is a lovely woman who is happy to share her knowledge with ease. Both welcoming and charming, Lilymoore Alpaca Farm does not disappoint.

A wonderful day at Lilymoore Alpaca Farm
Sep 2019
I had such a wonderful day at Lilymoore Alpaca Farm. It is so interesting to hear all that goes into keeping the Alpacas, horses, and the rest of the farm animal fed, clean and all the rest of the work that goes along with being a farm owner. I loved seeing each one of the Alpacas. Ruby even came to greet us at the store. Oh, don't forget to shop in the store, there are so many wonderful articles to purchase. Love my day at the Lilymoore Alpaca Farm~

Highly recommended
Aug 2019 • Friends
Staff was super friendly. You get to choose your alpaca buddy and take them to a walk. Wished the walk was longer but the alpacas were probably thirsty after one hour. So is fine. There were 5 of us and we thought it was a wonderful experiences. Alapcas were cute. Highly recommended for friends and family.

So nice to be have meet and greet with the Alpacas at Lilymoore
Apr 2019
We went on a rainy day and weren't sure what to expect but decided a little Alpaca time was worth getting wet. We were welcomed immediately and showed around the farm. Not only was it education but we also got to touch and feed the Alpacas. At the end of the tour, there was a very cute gift shop with items created from Alpaca wool. We will go back.
