I have to be honest here. Generally, whenever something new opens in Plattsburgh, I always tend to gravitate into the new attraction within the first week of its opening. This store, however, I passed up on for some time. I passed by on the street day after day for weeks and the shop windows never quite intrigued me enough to go inside. (Moreover, I found it kind of annoying how the store seems to always crowd the sidewalk in front of it with random items -- meaning that those walking along Margaret St often have to sort of weave past to get by.)
Well, finally one day I was bored enough to go inside, and what I found was what I had expected before entering: yet another junk shop, just like the rest. There are 4-6 thrift/antique shops already in the area, and almost all of them are better than this one. The store is jam packed with old movies, old hunting/sports memorabilia, dusty figurines and average artwork. Overall, the shopping experience here was roughly equivalent to walking into somebody's old basement hoping to find buried treasure and, as expected, finding nothing of real value.
