Lock 32 Whitewater Park is a constant flow, man-made, class II-III, whitewater park built in the spillway of the Erie Canal’s historic Lock 32. The park opened to the public in 2001 and is located in Pittsford, NY.
Stopped here for 30 minutes one day to watch the canal locks in operation. It was actually quite interesting to see how a lock works. I am still not quite sure where the water went when it was draining. Fun to watch the boats sink...More
