My sister and I went tubing with the town tinker tube rental group. We drove there and found that it was a big barn with tubes and all the equipment you would need. The people were friendly but there were some oddities. Firstly, you had to pay for the tube if it burst. I would've thought that was their problem.... More

...because regardless of the color brochure and the waivers, and the young person at check-in making sure you nod at their vague warnings, and the guy that "coaches" you prior to getting on the bus, it is truly dangerous. I'm kind of amazed this place is actually in business. Like one of the other recent reviewers, I'm not a wimp,... More

We went with three teenage boys and had a blast! The water level was high, so they wouldn't let our younger daughters go. That was the right call. The rapids were strong, but so fun! The water is freezing and takes your breath when you first get in, but after a while we acclimated. The rapids were pretty intense. This... More

FIrst off, I'm a major thrill seeker, I will travel anywhere, anytime, I jumped horses cross-country competitively for years, I'm a diver, I'm an expert snow and water skier, I've broken more bones than I can count and have had numerous major surgeries to repair sports injuries, I whitewater kayaked Class III and IV rapids for years and I've been... This could be fun, but the lack of staff or care for tubers safety is appalling. They display a sign stating this is not a lazy river, and require you sign a waiver acknowledging the possibility for injury... But that should not eliminate their responsibility for safety, as there are real possibilities for drowning. I personally got my leg caught... More

These reviews pretending this is a terrifying death trap are hilarious. If you are a fit teen or adult, this is fun and at times a little exhilarating. I go with a big group, and with 10-15 people in the water, usually only one or two people flip over. Most of the river is calm, or downright slow, with the... More

There is no sugar coating it; this is a dangerous activity with minimal concern to safety. The river current is very fast, and you hurtle against and over boulders in a rubber tube. There is no way to control the tube other than ineffective paddling with your arms, meaning that you bounce against the rocks like the ball in a... More

Great fun, but a bit hairy at times. Take the safety equipment, helmet, life vest, and pay attention to the advice. Lots of Rapids along the route, each of our party fell in at least once. Lots of cuts and bruises... So not a good idea if you are precious about not having knees like a kid ! Lovely scenery... More

Let me start by saying, I've experienced white water before...rafting, kayaking, etc...and I LOVE it. However this company is irresponsible, dangerous, shoddy, and are only out for your money. My boyfriend and I went during the water release and they said it would only be a half hour trip. I knew it was going to be rough and dangerous. After... More
