Palmyra is a neat little town. I highly recommend dropping by the historical society to get tours of the various museums. This general store was amazing - time just stopped here. Almost everything is left as it was 70 years ago, including eggs! My husband and I could've stayed all day. My kids (ages 8 and 5) enjoyed it too.

Go back in time to see a store that was closed one day and never reopened and has sat with the inventory still on the shelf for most of a century. This is not to be missed when visiting Palmyra. Palmyra has a very interesting history. Visit their city historical sites.

I highly recommend going here.....it is an outstanding step back in history. Our team (G.H.O.S.T.) actually did an investigation there last night..and Bonnie gave us the historical tour first...amazing!!! Loved it so much,we will go back many times in the future, we'll take the grandbabies there too.....

This group of 5 museums is a treasure of history. Besides the large collection of historical items, from toys and dolls to war uniforms and medical equipment, there is a print shop with people producing books by hand. The shop is being restored and will soon feature working antique presses made in the area. We saw a man applying gold... More

This place is awesome! If you like history and ghosts, you will love this! I visited there as a part of Spiritfest "09". Also, Valentown which was shown on SYFY's Ghost Hunters (TAPS). Got to meet Brian Harnois a former member of TAPS. It was a great time. The Phelps General Store is loaded with history and spirits. I suggest... More
