Beautiful seascapes, moments from the Cross-Sound Ferry Dock.

We spent time here daily on our mid-April wine-tasting visit. As others note it is a rocky, rather than sandy beach, but there are miles to walk, the seascapes are lovely and the Roy Latham nature walk is a plus. Even when officially closed, the facilities were immaculate, and there were picnic tables and charcoal grills under shade trees along... More

This is a great place for biking or walking though the paths. There is a nice big playground for the kids. I wouldn't want to sun bath here though, its to rocky. It is really pretty and there's a lot of wildlife. Also its right next to the ferry so if your heading to or from there you must stop... More

having visited this beach the past several years I went again about month ago and this time I brought my snorkel - yes! snorkeling in NY - haha. I could see for about 15-20 feet in any direction which I thought was awesome for NY. I saw 3 different species of fish; one of which I thought was a puffer... More

As beaches go..not a favorite..it is very rocky..bring a chair ..don't even attempt to layout on a towel! The views are nice..the area it self..a lead to other adventures in and about ... Ferry service available...

I am not a beach goer but love Orient Point. We live on Long Island and never think to go the sandy beaches we have, but love the rocky shore of Orient and the quieter experience of the North Fork.

Love it! Flat sandy beaches, miles of natural salt marsh coast line to walk or bike ride. Not crowded at all. Clean bathroom facilities, play ground, picnic areas and grills and you can fish, swim, kayak and more.

This park is big, beautiful and well maintained and has clean bathroom facilities and grounds. That being said, they have a flies and mosquitos problem (even on a hot day) that appears to be unaddressed. I would recommend bringing lots of bug spray.

Came here to getaway and absolutely loved it for my first time. It's not too far past greenport, and is just so picturesque. The bathrooms are clean, and the parking is convenient. The beaches are just so lovely, and the pathways for hiking and the bay side are less windy. There are cute little crabs everywhere, ospreys, and clear water.... More
