Old garment factory on the west end of Oneonta is the best organized, most cheerful and spacious multi-dealer antique and collectible emporium we have found in New York and New England. There are many windows, so it is bright and cheerful inside, unlike a lot of dank, dungeon-like second-hand places. There are 3 floors, and a great variety of items. We found that prices were quite a bit more reasonable than similar places in the Mohawk Valley to the north. The review by Rob24 is inaccurate--there was no garbage in the basement--just larger items that maybe he didn't want that day!
And--the rest room is spotless!

Many different vendors with many different prices. 3 stories, but the basement was mostly old (not antique) furniture and garbage. Cool old factory building with lots of stairs.

There is a good many antiques here. Nice variety and variety on prices. The reason for 3 stars is there is no air conditioning. I have a hard time when it's extremely hot. Also, there is parking behind the building but you have to walk up a hill. So, someone with a wheelchair or disabilities would have a hard time. There is a bathroom which is good. Friendly staff when I was there.

You can sense the history once you enter off Chestnut Street in Oneonta...from the building's history that once was a dress factory to the multiple vendor booths chock filled with antiques and memorabilia that will take us quickly back to our childhoods! The staff is so friendly and the atmosphere just invites you to stroll the aisles and check out all the wonderful pieces displayed on all three floors!
