- couple217 contributionsAntiques and moreThis is always a special place to visit and in these unique times, today the centre proved to be extra special. Takeaway coffee and cake served by two very pleasant cafe assistants was lovely, especially in the charming outside facilities. A warm welcome is reassuring on entering the centre itself and everywhere, especially the toilet facilities, is spotless with good sanitising facilities. We managed to purchase a much wanted birthday gift and Jackie, from the jewellery section, could not have more pleasant and helpful. She quickly helped us find an excellent selection of our desired stye of jewellery and we found just exactly what we had hoped for. So much to choose from, so worth the visit. A gem of a place, with diamond staff. Thank you.Visited July 2020Written July 7, 2020

- SorrentoGlasgow, United Kingdom304 contributionsA treasure trove of goodies!Went on a Friday with a friend, we thought we would grab a bite to eat first before we wandered round but the restaurant was full - which is a good sign , so remember to book in advance ! We were told we could get a table in half an hour so off we wandered....we were like kids in a sweet shop! Lunch was very nice with a good variety to choose from and the staff were lovely. To be honest we needed more time to see everything but what a trove of treasures. Both of us managed to spend a bit....so perhaps getting there earlier would not have been a good thing! Well worth a visit / day out, lovely drive on the way up and no problem with parking, we have already decided to return and get there earlier!Visited March 2022Written March 3, 2022

Huge building with endless interesting antique 'stalls' or 'shops'. The have a very large cafe area as well. Plenty of free parking and details at the entrance tell customers how to use the place. We wandered up and down the corridors finding something for everyone. The prices seem high in the case of coins, but books seemed more reasonable. Everything is well organised with some 'shop's seeming to be competing for the largets numbe rof items in the smallest possible space :-) The info and price tags are usually in full view.

This off the beaten track antique centre is well worth a visit (has a fab restaurant/cafe too!)
from the outside it looks like a large retail park outlet but inside its divided into lots of little individual owned booths/stalls. great range of antiques, books, toys, jewelry etc etc , plan on a couple of hours wandering round everything.
Also has the aforementioned eating area , food store , new items of furniture etc. there is also a little coffee/cake shack outside , not sure re times for that tho.
great way to spend some time !

This is a fantastic place to go if you are into antiques. There is something for everyone. You can spend a whole day and more in here and spend an absolute fortune. But it’s worth it. When you find something you like at a nice price. The cafe there is lovely too. Well worth a visit if you can

We just love this place! So full of stuff and stalls you could spend hours there. The cafe is nice too although the food has recently been coming in smaller portions. Cakes and scones are available too with coffee :)

Enjoyed a walk around the antiques centre then visited the restaurant. Ordered coffee n scones. Scones were like rock cakes, freezing cold and fruit inside also very hard. Think they had been lying uncovered and arrived, not heated, which might have helped. Brought this to attention of an employee, mature lady, said she would notify kirchen. No discount offered. Absolute rubbish and ridiculous to think they can offer this level of food and service. Far too busy to focus on customer service and more interested in profit. Could do a lot better and not an added value ottraction to compliment the antiques centre.

SAAC as it is known locally is a fantastic place to visit and buy antiques, greeting cards, clothing and modern furniture........and more, lots more. No problem with parking and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Close to Dundee, St Andrews and Gleneagles it is worth a visit in between rounds of golf. Once there have lunch at Cafe Circa as it is a real jewel in the area. Have fun there

Called in after seeing the sign a few miles away. Very impressed with the number of stalls and wide range of antiques, artefacts and accessories.
A good place to spend a couple of hours or so.
Thoroughly recommended.

Hi ……… have inherited a vintage fur coat, not ever likely to wear it and not sure what to do with it! Do you have any vendors that are likely to buy this from me ?

Do they buy jewellery ?
Ross D

Hi Fiona,
We lease stand and cabinet space to dealers who source their own stock. I might be able to put you in touch with an interested dealer though. The best thing to do is email me some photos along with any information you have about the jewellery you're looking to sell. Include your telephone number and I'll circulate details of your jewellery and contact info around dealers I think might show an interest.
Trip Advisor doesn't allow me to include an email address or weblink here but phone me on 01828 686401 and I'll give you my email address.
Kind regards, Ross Dunbar
