Went to visit with a few friends and it was beautiful as always. I enjoy going to Rock City State Park, especially in the fall, because that is when it is most beautiful, but it is a beautiful place to visit any time of year. I love all the huge boulders that have been there since the ice age. I believe that... More

Experience the beauty of Rock City Park! Gorgeous views and unbelievable rock formations. Hold onto your kids if you bring them. Great place to hike on a warm summer afternoon.

Really cool place to hike around and explore. I liked the trail map/guide with interesting information. Nature at it's best!

You have to be very careful, while hiking at Rock City. There are no railings along the rocks, and have deep drop offs. I would not recommend taking small children there.

There are some part where it should have a fence or warning sign. Not recommended for family with many young children with only 2 adult supervising it. The direction sign inside the park is not clear. I just wonder how often this park is been review for the safety of falling/ not steady/ rotten rock.

This place is utterly amazing! Walking through, under, and along gigantic boulders and ancient trees takes your breathe away. Be sure to wear a good pair of hiking shoes or sneakers for the trek

You can visit the museum and get rocks,,,cool rocks. Big ice sheets moved these rocks and my Uncle had an oil lease up there for years. They have food ??? ice cream and hot dogs. Stand under this one boulder you will be amazed at the size.

This is a very nice, no frills, nature walk through some ancient rock formations, forming cliff, crevasses, caves, etc. Very inexpensive, an easy walk of about an hour to an hour and a half. Nice and shady.
