What a wonderful way to get in the Christmas spirit. The mansion was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The tea was delightful. We will do it again next year. Can’t wait for the Gardens to be open in the Spring and Summer.

This place is great. It is the third or fourth area mansion we have visited over the past few years. This place is at the top. We went the weekend before Christmas and were surprised with hot cider and cookies, a mini concert by the Girl Scouts, Santa, and decorations including antique toy trains. The docents are helpful but not pushy. Unfortunately, outside work is being done, so you need to look past the scaffolding. We did not get to walk the grounds (too cold) but are looking forward to returning to do just that.

We came to see the Beautiful house set amongst the pathways and gardens of the gilded era. This place is lovely to stroll, wonderful to experience and to see the strides they are making to incorporate art in open spaces. I joined to lend support and to ensure that such conservation efforts continue. Unfortunately, my membership is also over the long winter, so I won't use it again til I return in the spring, but in time for the blossoming gardens.

I had visited Westbury Gardens many times before, but never in the evening .On this particular visit my friends and I participated in a fun event of mystery and clues to solve a missing treasure. the event was called A Peculiar Occurrence at Orchard Hill. Orchard Hill is on the grounds of Westbury Gardens and was the home of the Daughter who lived there until her death. When we entered the smaller mansion. We were greeted with a warm welcome and delicious snacks. We were then given six written glues to help find the items in each of the six rooms that we were going to visited in the Mansion. The tour consisted of the Parlor, Library, Master Bedroom Suite, Kitchen, Servants Quarters, We had so much fun finding the clues and when we were finished We found the missing Jewels. There are steps to walk up so were comfortable shoes. The tour took approiximately 2Hours. SO FUN!!!
