Fall foliage

This is the place to see the fall colors. Take the ski lift to the top and be amazed. Every color for miles and miles. The view of the many lakes is amazing as well. Don't miss it.

Not expensive at $6.00 per adult. Don't expect a giant mountain, it's not the Rockies, but was worth the ride up. There's a nice view from several angles if you're into photography. The guys working were pleasant enough.

Skiing in the winter or hiking in the summer, you'll love this little mountain. Great views from the top, great trails. If you enjoy nature I highly recommend McCauley.

We visited Old Forge in October while taking the Adirondack scenic railroad. We took the shuttle to the mountain. The views were amazing... We took beautiful photos

Though we have been coming to Old Forge for years, finally had time to enjoy the chairlift ride and trails!

After seeing this on Trip Advisor we decided to go the weekend of peak colors. It was a beautiful day. The tickets for the chair lift were 6.00 for adults and 5.00 for kids. We used the bathroom prior to getting on the lift. We had to walk quite a ways to get there. The ride up was nice. My... More

This is absolutely worth the price. I actually considered going right on it a second time to see the gorgeous view again The people who work there will stop the lift if you need help getting on or off so it's handicap accessible as long as you are able to transfer.

There's no other way to describe the view from the top of the mountain. The chair lift ride up is fun, and I would suggest walking or biking it for some added exercise. Once at the top, there are a few viewing areas to look out. My favorite vantage point is in the direction of the chain of lakes. This... More
