Drove thru the park on our way to Canada . It is huge, like 6 million acres, 10,000 lakes and 30,000 miles of stream and rivers. It must be glorious in the fall when the leaves turn colors.

Very impressed and mesmerized with the park and how friendly everyone was. So many areas to see, hike, bike, swim. My kind of vacation! Definitely worth a return trip!

What a peaceful, beautiful, very large park. It's nature at its finest. You could spend the day, a couple of hours or a week.

I tell people "Look on a map at that large part in the northern New York where there are hardly any towns or roads. That's us!" Since I live in a small village on a lake in the southern Adirondacks, I have been able to...More

Rollings Pond is one of the campground in Central Adirondack. Most campsites, but not all of them located on the waterfront, so it is constant access to the water adventures. Our site was not far from comfort station, one one station with hot shower. So...More
