This is a small park on the left side heading North on river road.Used to be called Fisherman's Park. In fact until fairly recently I never realized that they changes the name. Lots of grass area and places for people to fish. Year back they used to have car shows there.
There is a monument there to honor the Seabees as well as one for the Marines.
Good spot to relax as there's really nothing there to do unless you're at a picnic or with friends.

you can't go wrong with Marcia B, who led is, literarily, to this cozy riverside viewspot right in our own back yard... Coney Island it ain't, but a quiet gathering spot with a nice river view, a varied flotilla of boats pounding along the surf

This is a small park located on the Niagara River. It has 2 picnic shelters and a shelter next to the water for sitting and/or fishing. There is a wooden dock running perpendicular to the river along a small channel. There is a playground and a city trailer/stage. There are easy listening concerts there on Thursday evenings. There were quite a few people fishing there yesterday (it was formerly known as Fishermen's Park). What makes this little park interesting are the two large memorials along the River Road side of the park. There is one honoring the US Navy Seabees and one for the Marines. Unfortunately, I only saw one Johnny-on-the-Spot. This is a seasonal dawn to dusk park.

Family
We attended a family picnic in the large shelter at this park. The park itself was maintained and clean. The shelter had electric and the tables were in good shape. You can't beat the view. The park is cute and a great place to sit and relax with lunch or dinner. Bathrooms are on the other side of the park which was a little inconvenient, but overall a great party spot!
