Unique variety of fine art photography and jewelry, all astonishingly handmade by local artists. The gallery has a very harmonic atmosphere in an elegant cave house located only a few steps before the Castle and the famous sunset spot in Oia.

Mnemosyne is a shop! With a galley touch! If you are looking for different pictures of the island you will find there! The owner is a professional photographer that gives a special touch into the island pictures! The shop worth a visit just by the architecture! A traditional cave house! The jewelry pieces are AMAZING! Super friendly staff! Before going... More

Great photographic art and jewelry, along with friendly service. This is a beautiful shop that my wife and I visited as we took one of our final strolls through Oia. The jewelry is handmade by the proprietress, who is very friendly and helpful.

After visiting almost all of the jewelry stores on the island I was so pleased to have found this wonderful gallery store a bit hidden from the main street.. The Mnemossyne Gallery has a window on the main street with a preview of what to find in the store a few steps below. The jewelery is both original and artistic.... More

As others have mentioned this little gallery is down some steps off the beaten track but the display cases along the path, on the left as you walk towards the castle, have some lovely items that demanded further investigation. Once in the gallery I found a beautiful silver bracelet, completely unique with one black lava bead within it, a perfect... More

Beautiful gallery with unique jewelry and art. A perfect shop to find quality gifts and memories from your visit - definitely not tourist trinket crap. They are not on the main street but not too hard to find with some samples/signs up on the street level.

Oia is full of shops selling jewellery, some of it better than others. Mnesmossyne is the cream of the crop, but far. Tucked away down a staircase off one of the main tourist drags, you'll only know they're there from the display cases out on the main street. The jewellery they sell is far better than anything else on offer... More

This place is both a gallery and a jewelry store. Everything is from local designers and look very unique. Many of the other jewelry stores all have the same stuff and is very touristy but this one is special! The entrance is hard to find, you actually have to go downstairs from a small staircase. Its easy to miss so... More

Lovely and unusual photography and jewelry. Interesting photographic techniques. As with most Oia shops, the people are friendly but not overbearing.

Nice lunch on the water, not too crowded, rode the donkey back up the hill. Have some great pictures from it.
