Before sunset you must visit this small bay. It is hard to park a car, but you can leave it by the road... After parking a car you will see very beautiful bay. From the bay you could make some nice photos of Oia from below. You could also wait for the sunset having dinner in some of the restaurants... More

Yes, it's crowded Yes, it's hot, but you cannot deny the fact that this is as close to paradise as it gets. The water is breathtaking, proving that those images we see of Santorini are not, in fact, photoshopped. The best part of it is that once you have gone down the 250 steps and seen this stunning bay, there... More

Get there early, beat the crowds and head around to the left where you can jump off the rock and swim in crystal clear waters.

We rented an ATV for the day and drove down to Amoudi's for lunch which was great. The day before we went out on a private boat starting from this location. It's such a beautiful bay.

If you have spare time then for sure descend the stairs. Have some lunch. And then ascend the stairs. It's a small bay with a few restaurants serving grilled fish. Nothing special.

Admittedly we were staying in Ammoudi bay, but having battled with the crowds in Oia for one night we loved the relative calmness of Ammoudi Bay. Great little selection of restaurants and a top notch cliff jumping spot just round the corner

We went swimming at Amoudi Bay of the rocks gorgeous sea. Plenty of restaurants if your hungry and some donkeys to ride up a hill if your into that. Great place too see on your travels.

Ammoudi bay is at the northernmost point of Thira (Santorini), and can provide some glorious photographs, clear waters for a dip, as well as fresh food by the sea. There are two ways to access the bay - either a serious set of steps or a steep and winding road. The main reason for my rating is that the steps... More

The steps down are not too bad but coming back up is hard work in the heat even at 7pm at night. The donkeys / horses to transport you look unkempt and its seems a shame for them as they are as hot if not hotter than you!
