Amoudi bay is a favourite of my children and the water is lovely to swim in. People with limited mobility might have a hard time as the pathway is rocky. There is a small platform and one can find spaces on the rocks to sit....More

Walked down here from Oia and it was an amazing little bay. Just be careful of the donkey poo and slippy steps! 230 steps worth! The colour of the sea is amazing as well :)

It's a hike on the rocks but so worth it. Go swimming, eat fresh fish, enjoy the culture :) You can spend as little as 1 hour here or as long as half a day. We came via ATV and then hiked down/around the cove.

Myself and husband rented a bike for the day and drove around the island. Amoudi Bay was on our list of places to see and it never did disappoint!! The water is crystal clear and the small boats that are tied up make for great...More

Amazing small town on water and plenty of places to go to and see. Great for taking family photos and enjoying a bite to eat while watching the boats.

The bay is cute and you can take some boat tours from here. There are about 6 restaurants, but that's about it. If you're not planning to eat or go on a boat trip, there's not much to do here. The restaurants have fresh seafood...More

Worth stomping all the way down the 100s of steps just to eat here. Owned by a friendly Canadian lady

Very difficult to get to with the traffic pattern go by boat if you can You would think the Greeks would figure out a fair traffic pattern to accommodate the vehicles. Allow extra time to be there if going by car Nevertheless the food was...More

We took the stairs up and down from Oia to have lunch at Amoudi Bay. Lunch was peaceful and fantastic as the view of the bay is lovely. It’s a tiny town but well worth the climb to dine on fresh fish by the water....More

Great little villiage at the bottom of the hill from Oia. Great photo opportunity looking back to Oia. We got here after the hike from Fira and made our way to jump off the rock. Some spots to get to the rock had collapsed so...More

Yes, I would. Ask your hotel to reserve a nice table they are more than happy too. They can also reserve a taxi to there and before you leave ask the restaurant manager to call you a taxi back. It’s quite dark after sunset.

We found the whole of Oia to feel extremely safe - including the steps. We were staying above Amoudi Bay and the steps were always well used by lots of people. We walked up and down - there are a lot of steps though - but as... More

Our taxi came 5-10 minutes after they made the call. The ride back up to Oia was really short, at most 5-10 minutes. There isn’t a lot of parking spaces at the bay... so driving may not be such a good idea. Perhaps you could... More
