Beautiful course, perfectly maintained and challenging! People at pro shop were accommodating, friendly, and fluent in American English. Carts have GPS in both yards and meters, and handle the hills well. The swirling breezes of the Atlantic was cool, refreshing--and added some excitement. Only (minor) gripe: was unable to get a to-go beer at the turn. No glass bottles allowed on course, and they had no suitable cups for draughts.

What an amazing experience! This is defenitely one of the most beautiful courses I have ever played! We had blue sky and almost no wind, it does not get any better. Sea view on almost every hole. Don't get distracted by these views. The course is not so difficult under these circumstances but I can imagine if the wind is stronger! Wide fairways and honest greens. Reasonable prices (€65 greenfee and €35 for children). A nice terrace at the clubhouse. Small minor is that they don't have electric trolleys, only pull (which is heavy when you start the back nine holes). Holes 10-11-12 are really "Amen corner". I would love to play again here. Thank you for an amazing round of golf!

Although I did not use the golf course, the views of the course among the mesmerizing views of Etretat made it the best gold course to ever see. It is a must see if one visits Etretat.

Have just played this and got rained off after 4 holes!! The staff were so friendly in the club house and we were given a complimentary round of golf due to the weather. They did not need to do this and this certainly was exceptional customer service. A word of warning....the parking is awful, lack of spaces, tight and very disorganised!

We definitely want to go back when the weather is nicer!!

This is one of the loveliest courses I have played. Well maintained greens and fairways. Stunning views of the coast. Some steep walks both on the fairway and between holes. Probably not a course to play on a wet and windy day as its cliff top location means it is very exposed.
The clubhouse is welcoming but had no food when we came in at 2 which was disappointing.

One of the best courses I have ever played. A truly exceptional lay out with oh so many highlight holes, with the signature 10th a magnificent par 5. Great club house with friendly service, this is a must play course for lovers of the game.

Wow, what can I say. I noticed there was a golf course on the cliffs of Etretat when looking at lists of top sites to visit in France, so it was a no brainer to add Etretat to our trip itinerary. I'm so glad we did. Playing golf here was an experience I will never forget for as long as I live. An experience of a lifetime. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, and green fees and club rentals were very reasonable.

Of course if the wind is blowing and the rain horizontal this course is a disaster. But today it was a golfers heaven on earth. Second only to Carne near belmullet in the west of Ireland. If you are a golfer within 50 miles of Étretat.on a calm sunny day. Get there quick.. you wont regret it! Only drawback no electric trolleys can’t understand why!

The welcome on the course is great - very friendly. The bar was friendly too. The Newcastle Brown was exorbitant. (this is not Les Champs Élysées).

The real problem was the sandwich. On the barman’s recommendation I chose the Terrine (“Homemade” - “Faite Maison”). I didn’t look at it until I was on the course. I wish I had because I would have given it back.
Often a terrine, during cooking, is enrobed in fat/lard (to keep the terrine moist) but this fat is not usually removed on serving ; and sometimes there are little bits of fat in the terrine itself. However my sandwich was more like 50% fat !! All the former fat was still present and hadn’t been removed and as for the latter type of fat, there were big pieces (1cm cubed !!) in the middle of each bit of terrine itself.
I never normally never behave like this but I was so annoyed (was it deliberate ? ) and disappointed (I’ve lived in France since 1988 and have never had such an awful example of a terrine - beit at home, in a bistro or in a high-end restaurant in Paris or in the Provinces) that eventually, I started to throw this fat over the green !! So if the green keeper finds the fat, he can thank the chef and the barman !!
It spoiled my entire visit. In case the club is wondering, this was on Wednesday 12th September. I’m the “Brit” from the Isle of Man and I was there with a friend from Paris (he’d never seen a sandwich like that either!!).
