We had not heard of this author or his gentleman burglar character so didn't know what to expect in this small house museum. We came away feeling well informed and enjoyed the visit.

This is the house where the writer Maurice Leblanc lived and wrote his novels about the "French Robin Hood" Arsene Lupin. No doubt he was inspired by the spectacular cliffs where Lupin could hide if necessary. He made them famous, especialy the cliff called the needle because of its pointed shape. You can see the house and its well-kept garden on your way from the largest parking place to the centre of the town, just watch for the signs. I am a big fan of the work of Maurice LeBlanc so I had to see Le clos Arsène Lupin. You may visit the author's house with a lot of reference to his books.
