Arsene Lupin

Beautiful house with very well kept gardens. Worth a visit if you read the books and enjoyed them otherwise just a look from the outside is good enough.

Our children were not interested by this tour, and we were parked as visitors. Comments far from the book and we suspect the tour operator didn't know the author !....

Even if you haven't read any of the Arsène Lupin novels, this museum is well worth visiting. It's set out like Lupin's house, and as you go from room to room, you're given details of the story of the Hollow Needle via headphones - in English or most other major languages, clues are pointed out, and the scene is set... I am quite a fan of Arsene Lupin so the tour was quite enjoyable. If you don't know the story of l'Aiguille Creuse it's a good way to get to know it without reading it although it's easier to enjoy the house if you already know who he is.
