The falaises are beautiful. Just a unique place. It was a cloudy day, nevertheless it was a fascinating hike.

It was blowing a hoolie when we hiked up the coastal path onto the cliff top to admire the impressive white cliff scenery and eroded arches, made famous in Monet's paintings. Here they all are, just as in his wonderful landscapes. An easy walk up, barriered bridges...More

We drove to the top of the cliffs and parked in the lot by the church. The wind was blowing so hard that I was concerned about my mother (who is 84 and weighs just 125) would get blown off the cliffs! I had her...More

Lucky to be in Étretat on a sunny crisp winter day. No tourists and cliff walk to ourselves. Low winter light made cliffs glow with green. Imagine it would be unpleasant at peak tourism season or in the rain.

The cliffs of Etretat are probably the most spectacular in Europe. The sea water sculptured in the limestone rocks fantastic shapes.. The beach is covered by pebbles which have the size of a goose's egg. The views are incredible!

We also went to the west side and had an amazing time. We took a pic nic with us and sat at the top where we enjoyed lunch and the beautiful view

I’d park in the center of town right by the beach. That way you’d be close to both cliff sides.

You can walk everywhere in Etretat. It is very small. We parked our car and never moved it the whole weekend. Enjoy!
