I really recommend to take a walk to the top of the cliff. The view from overthere is absolutely breathtaking!! It is a special place for couples but also for families

We took a half of way the train and a half walking. Beautiful view and a nice walking, it is a must to be done in the morning especially as there are a lot of people in the high season.

This part of the chalk cliffs of Etretat is wonderful. Impossible to take a bad photo of it. Photos can be taken from the promenade or from the opposite cliffs to the right. It's also possible to walk to the top past the golf course. It gets a bit steep in parts and probably not advisable if wet as it... More

Entretat was very busy so driving and parking difficult. However it is well worth it as scenery at the beach was spectacular. The cliffs hugging both ends of the pebble beach are monumental. Lovely old town centre. Worth visiting.

What a wonderful place to visit- Etretat. The town is nestled in a small cove between massive limestone cliffs and is postcard perfect. The waterfront promenade provides the perfect place to view the elephant like cliff formations while taking a leisurely stroll. The town clearly displays its strong links to its Viking heritage and many of the buildings are truly... More

Great view of the stuning Etretat and a noce little track with view of the cliffs close by. You reach the church onnthe hilltop with your car, park and immediately feel like you are in a holy place. The view is magnificent since you are on the tallest hill you can look far on tje ocean and take a tour... More

It's worth walking along the beach at the bottom of the cliff. You have to check the timings for the tide (the place is submerged at high tide) and the rocks on the ground can seem dangerous and slippery but as long as you're careful and Wear proper footwear, it should be fine. The walk will lead you across caves... More

Really just made a quick stop to see the cliffs, which were beautiful and worth seeing, but the town of Etretat also boasted some amazing architecture. There certainly appeared to be a lot to do for tourists.
