We walked up here with our child 6 and 3 years old, the stairs were definitely not easy for them but once at the top they really enjoyed seeing the paragliders zoom past and my 6 year old told me she thought it was really beautiful. If you've never been to etretat it's worth it for the views alone.

This was my 2nd time at Etretat, the cliffs are still as impressive as in my memories. It's a must-see. There is a walking trail along the top of the cliffs (be prepared for mud, light rain and a lot of humidity, typical weather in Normandie) and you can also walk along the shore when the tides are low. The... More

Stopping by the village of Etretat is so easy. . .and so is walking to the top of these gorgeous cliffs. Give yourself plenty of time to take pictures and enjoy the breeze.

This was just mind blowing beautiful. As I have to write at least 100 words, let me repeat: mind blowing beautiful.

Stunning natural landmark on the east side of the Etretat bay. Spectacular especially during sundown, but also when illuminated until midnight.

Etretat is the best known because the natural arched rock Porte d'Aval. I have to admit that this is definitely the most interesting and stunning object there. Do not miss to visit other cliffs which is next to Porte d'Aval. La Manneporte reminds me horse which drink sea water but my children argued that this is not a horse but... More

Its gorgeous and quite easy to walk the paths, not steep climbs to the cliffs. ITS STUNNING!!!! We rented a car and drove which was easy from Paris and the scenery lovely. You can take train to Le Havre and then a bus, but makes for a long one day trip...if you have a couple days then public transport wouldn't... More

Went here with my wife and two children to see the cliffs and have lunch, it was terrific. The cliffs are amazingly beautiful and not too hard to climb. I think with both children we climbed the western cliffs of Etratat in less than 45 minutes. However, the view is stunning for such little effort. I the path is not... More

The cliffs are stunning... the views are unbeatable... The route to the cliffs is rustic .. steps to begin with... but then a raw track leads you to the top. the track is broken at many places due to rains and rough terrain, which is not suitable for wheels. We hiked with a Pram and a 5 month old baby.... More
