Poor review I'm afraid and I rarely give negative feedback . Etretat is a charming location but it's now rammed full of tourists to such an extent that 'in season ,you feel as if you have become a lemming. The cliff edge therefore seemed to...More

Absolutely, totally loved walking to the top of the cliff! Changes in colour and in season from one moment to the next! Almost surreal! No wonder Claude Monet was inspired by the place! Fabulous! Tiring but worth it! Soooooo many photos!!!! Great in autumn as...More

We arranged a tour to the cliffs. The Cliffs our impressive but I would not consider this a must see. The weather is integral to enjoying this site. From the beach we did not have enough time to walk all the way to the top...More

I doubt there is any place else in the world like the Falaise d'Etretat. I took the walk along the path, starting at the beach and heading up and across La Falaise d'Aval. These white stone cliffs rise like behemoths from the water in shapes...More

If near Etretat, a must. The climbs on other side of the pebbled beach are not too bad. Once to the top you will be rewarded with some truly spectacular views. A photographer's paradise. You will get a workout, but well worth it. Both sides...More

One of the many most beautiful places of France! You can admire the cliffs from the beach or the northern side at the top of the other cliff by the little church. Don't miss the fabulous Gardens there: Jardins d'Etretat -see the reviews.

Fantastic after lunch walk up to the top of the Cliff. The views are amazing which probably explains the camera crews at work.

The cliffs of Etretat offer up some of the most amazing views after you have tramped up the hills (they are high and it is strenuous). There a few main viewpoints, each of which have spectacular views of the rocks and thee Channel. I echo...More

I’d park in the center of town right by the beach. That way you’d be close to both cliff sides.

You can walk everywhere in Etretat. It is very small. We parked our car and never moved it the whole weekend. Enjoy!
