A nice very touristy town just off the beach with the famous and photographic cliffs. There is a long beautiful boardwalk and there are many charming restaurants just off the boardwalk and throughout the town. Many seafood restaurants.

What a town! The local townsfolk are so lovely and welcoming to tourists, willing to help and very tolerant of vain attempts of speaking French! Highly recommend a trip on the train to visit the church and gain a spectacular view of the beach etc

Interesting little beach side town.Worth a visit . Parking is tricky but plenty outside up the road to Honfleur. Lots of restaurants and the beach and view of the cliffs is interesting

Etretat is a pleasant town with spectacular cliffs but it is spoilt by its popularity. The day we visited, the streets were crowded with tourists and we drove round every car park in the town without finding a space. In the end we were lucky...More

Cruising to Le Harve we have always visited Honfleur. Etretat was recommended. It’s not as pretty as Honfleur not does it have the nice shops. Scenery is good though, but that’s it.

We stayed here for 5 nights and in that time there was enough to keep us occupied with two young kids. It's a small but quaint seaside town with lots of lovely fish restaurants and the usual amazing creperies and boulangers etc. The cliffs next...More
