We came across Indiana River on our way Aigues Mortes. We came to spend the full afternoon there and what a joy. A very attractive spot just by the road bridge over the river Verdoule between Lunel and Aigues Mortes. Welcomed from the start and genuine friendliness throughout the day. Our daughters (17 and 21) went on the aerial adventure course that provided challenge and endurance combined with fun, later finishing with ziplines over the river (concluding in the river unless you could keep your bottom up!). They loved it but declined a repeat of the ziplines (which can be tackled separately if desired) despite repeated offers from Thibaut (Tibo). Later they went on the paddle boards. So there's an aerial assault course for adults and a junior version, zip lines, paddle boards and kayaks, several access to water points (diving and jumping in), a big net suspended over the river to climb into, a teepee, tight rope walks (land and water), a wood fired BBQ that we were welcomed to use. The owner Robin was on hand throughout the day. Full safety equipment and use of was explained well, or demonstrated where needed. Help or rescue (sorry Francesca!) was there at a stroke. Access from the main road is easy. Ample parking available. Inconspicuous but secure safety support for all activities. There wasn't any feeling of timed activity "and now it's time for the next group". Very easy going and we paid at the end of the day. The kindly people we met there go there regularly, almost a party atmosphere. Laid back. Plenty of well shaded picnic tables and chairs. Cold drinks available all afternoon. Wood fired BBQ, or use your own equivalent. Peaceful. Earth closet with sawdust was an experience. Fishing spots nearby. The river wasn't in spate when we went and was fairly clear with little current. This doesn't mean safety was compromised. Supervision of children is still required etc. Lovely and we are going back. Thank you to owner Robin, his brother Thibaut, Jeremy and Bruno..+ young Dorian who made friends with us and who made us feel so welcome.
