So this is one of the falls in the area, one on the US side and of course not one of the main attractions, but it is nice that the US is trying at least. Have a glance at it when you have finished staring...More
Once again the inferiority of America comes trickling through. It's a nice waterfall, but you really can't see it from the side. Go to Canada for the best view of the American Falls. In these winter months, the spray from both sets of Falls is...More
We paid the extra $24 (for 2 people) to take the elevator down to the pathway to see bridal veil. It was winter, so the walking paths were closed. Played a short movie, and then the ride down to the lower level. Worth the extra!
The park access to these falls in between the American and Canadian falls is perfect. There is no better area to see this natural wonder than the park and area on Goat Island to see these falls. Don't miss them.
The Canadian side has the views of the falls, but to experience the shear power you've got to get right up on the edge, and Bridal Veil allows you to do this. There just isn't a comparable location on the Canadian side. Just be aware...More

That had been my original plan. But we arrived late and had only the afternoon. My son had time to do everything at Attitash once (including the zip line) between 12:30 and 4. We also ate lunch during that time. If we had a full day, we could have repeated some activities. I would have been too exhausted to do anything a second time though! I imagine there are lines and waiting during the summer. We had none of those in late September.
There are tons of hotels there. We stayed on the Canadian side and it was beautiful. The saying goes "you play on the American side and stay on the Canadian side". I'm sure you will have no trouble finding a room with two... More
