This was such an amazing experience. We went on Easter Sunday and there was no crowd at all. We went early and there was plenty of space to move around. The pounding of the falls was just aw inspiring. Highly recommend this tour!

We took the maid of the mist boat ride on a weekday in April. Although it was pretty cold on the boat, we loved the experience. It's unbelievable how close the boat is able to get to the falls. We were all soaking wet when...More

This was great. Beautiful, up close views of the falls. You are given a free rain poncho with admission and if you stay on the middle of the boat you can make it out dry however if you stand around the outside of the boat...More

For anyone trying this for the first time it's an unforgettable experience. You will get wet even with the provided poncho. Doing it on a warmer day helps.

This boat ride to the base of the falls is the only option from the U.S. side. The boat holds 600 people, so it will always feel crowded. At 20 minutes there and back, it will be over way too quickly. It may be an...More

Maid of the Mist should be on top of your list if you want to visit the Niagara Falls. It's one thing to see the top/overview of the falls but to experience it up close, is just surreal! It's only a 15-min boat ride but...More

it's best to go on the Maid of the Mist website and check their hours of operation. There is definitely Limited hours during the off-season but I don't know if they close entirely in the winter

In the platform around the docking area there is a washroom. Before you reach the boat there will be a view deck make sure to check that too.
