My friends and I visited mid July and loved this attraction the most. If you are going to do anything this is it. Ponchos are provided. The boat ride takes you right up to the falls and stays there about 5 minutes. Seeing all that power and beauty is worth it. We also saw several rainbows. Do this!

If you only do it once, well it was worth the wait. We went on the Canada day long weekend. Long lineups for the tickets and to get to the boat. The whole thing took about three hours from tickets to the exit. It's a short ride, but better boats and more organized than the American side. A unique look... More

This tourist attraction is a must see. You will get wet but it won't be an issue. They give you rain ponchos. The line moves fast and the boat ride does not disappoint. We loved it!

Perfect quick boat trip right into the heart of the falls, would have done this trip twice if we had time. You will get wet, but it was welcomed on a hot July day. Make sure you have your walking shoes on, you will be doing a lot of walking! Also, included was the AMAZING view from the observation deck,... More

We drove in for the day and had a great time at the park. The little kids didn't enjoy the maid of the most as much as the teenager with all the wind, but it was a cool ride and one I would recommend.

Lines can be long, but tickets are valid for 3 days. Tickets are expensive for a 20-minute experience, but we all loved it. Ponchos help keep you dry, if you want to be dry. The Canadian side is now called Hornblower, not Maid of the Midst. This gives you an "up close and personal" experience of the falls.

We loved this boat ride. You can suit your ride to your personal bravery. Go up top to get wet and brave the water or go below deck to enjoy ride in dryness. I only gave four stars as night rides are not available. You have to go to Canada side for night rides to see the falls lit up... More

So beautiful!!! The maid of the mist gets you so close to the falls. Great experience I would recommend trying this out. Only thing I didn't like was when you got off of the ride it was very unorganized trying to get back up to the top on the elevators. Very long wait.

The views you get of both the Horseshoe and American falls are amazing. Be prepared to get wet even with the provided poncho. My 6 and 8 year-olds loved it.

We had booked a tour that included Maid of the Mist. I will say it took forever due to the long lines in July. The experience was amazing...I can't say enough about the beauty of the falls. However, we stayed on the Canadian side, so it took a long time to cross the border due to traffic. For the same... More
