My wife and I planned a nice day to spend with our grandchildren and decided on Lawrence Farms. The picking of apples and finding pumpkins as well as eating their cider doughnuts was fun for the kids and the adults. There is even a miniature village that the young ones can play in. There is also a hay maze. There... More

We live near this orchard, but I would travel miles just as my grandchildren do for their annual Autumn Fun Day, to enjoy apple picking, warm cider donuts and a walk in the orchards. Love this place and you will too!

I went to Lawrence Farms for many years, and used to really enjoy the family experience. Now the place has changed. They charge each individual person in the car to get in, and the customer service is terrible. The workers are rude, they follow you around, and was very inappropriate in their handling of some of the children. I will... More

Pros: nice views, pick your own apples, veggies, pumpkin, etc. they have a little village for little kids to play. The fruits and vegetables are delicious. Cons: Too crowded and feels like deli owners in the city are picking all the apples to sell (just my opinion. I don't have any proof!!). People are aggressive at times and I've seen... More

I've been here on several occasions, but my favorite time to visit is late summer/early fall. I love to pick the grapes, and just enjoy the activity of the place. There are lots of choices of fruits/veggies, and the view is gorgeous.

Horrifying experience with a group of young children. We went here for a fun day out to pick some local fruit. All turned for the worse in the matter of minutes. While picking peaches, a large black animal ran at us. From a distance we thought it was a bear! I screamed to the children that were not near me... More

Nice outing for families. Pick your own available per the season for strawberries, cherries, apples and variety of veggies (some orchid corps failed the year due to a rough winter). Staff always courteous and helpful. Petting zoo and picnic tables available for customers. Beautiful views from the property of surrounding hills and valley. Gift items available in gift shop. Don't... More

We went there on fathers day. Did some strawberrry, lettuce and spinach picking. The product was fresh and it is large farm. What we didnt like is they charge a $3 fee to enter plus 25c for each strawberry pod to place your picked strawberries. I think that is ridiculous. Nonetheless a good day trip from NYC. Stop over in... More
