Available to view Mon - Thurs by appointment. Please call the gallery. At over 3,000 square feet, DM Weil Gallery may be one of the largest modern art galleries in New York's Hudson Valley. Just a short drive from the center of picturesque New Paltz, DM Weil Gallery offers the look and vibe of an exclusive Soho style exhibition space, but with the majestic Shawangunk mountains as a backdrop. The eye-popping abstract creations of acclaimed painter DM Weil -- has been praised by critics and collectors alike, the gallery's mission statement remains, "Why Can't Fine Art Be Fun?".

While our husbands were out golfing for the day, my girlfriend and I wandered around Rosendale and New Paltz, shopping and eating and wow viewing some really cool art. After exploring the center of town, we ventured out to Gardiner, a few miles out of town to see DM Weil Gallery. We really loved this place. It was open and... More

Great place in the country. Felt like I was back in NYC strolling through a gallery. The artist Donna was so nice and spent plenty of time answering my questions. Interesting process of reproducing the art for prints, definitely worth a visit!

I stopped in with my girlfriend on a whim and was completely impressed with the size and vision of the gallery. Rarely does one see such a well presented collection outside of NYC. Donna was extremely personable as was Ken. You really should pay them a visit and checkout this little gem. This is a great place with great people.... More

My husband and I went to the Hudson Valley to visit our daughter in school. We did Historic, cultural and outdoor activities, and stumbled on a unique gallery in the middle of what we term "the woods" . Actually only a few miles out of the center of New Paltz, we visited the DM Weil Gallery after picking up a... More

I live in the Hudson Valley in Poughkeepsie New York and sometimes look for new things to do to shake it up a bit. I had two girlfriends visiting from the city last weekend and we did some searching for things to do and this gallery in New Paltz came up. We took a ride over the bridge and in... More

I went here with some friends recently. We came for hiking but wanted to see this place for ourselves. My friend Matthew wrote a review so I will just say that everything he said I second. Excellent space and people. Art different and fun. Do not miss this place if you visit the area. An hour should do to see... More

On a trip with friends to the area we decided to pay this place a visit after seeing the reviews. We didn't come specifically to see art ( actually some winter hiking ) but it was so close to where we were and the reviews so enticing..... We weren't disappointed. The manager and artist are extremely friendly and open about... More

My girlfriend and I took a trip to New Paltz over Presidents Day weekend and visited this gallery. It was a great experience. We had the opportunity to speak with the artist and tour the gallery. My girlfriend and I loved the art and the space. We definitely plan on coming back and potentially buying a print (the originals are... More

Ever ask yourself, who lives out there beyond those rural roadside mailboxes? What you find may surprise you. It certainly surprised me the first time I stepped off my bicycle and into a slice of SoHo in the Hudson Valley; that is into artist DM Weil's Gallery, office and studio compound on Bruynswick Rd, in Gardiner, NY. Listen, I'm not... More
