Aside from the Mohonk Mountain House hotel itself, you can visit as a day guest, pay a fee and enjoy miles of hiking or cross country skiing on beautidul trails that go through the woods and/or cliffs. The scenic biews are spectacular.

The trails in the preserve are well maintained, with beautiful views, and walks for every level, However, the access is limited to those who can afford the steep entry fees of $15. 00 per person. Previous open access has been fenced off. So Disappointing.
