Who would have thought a waterfall could be viewed so easily at the end of Main St in Montour Falls. We parked on Main St, I looked down the street and at the end was a spectacular waterfall. Pros Can be seen from a far distance at the end of Main St. Enjoyed the sign at the street with the... More

Mesmerizing to say the least. I love the look of it from the middle of town. So quaint and picturesque.

Visit when there has been much or consistent rain as the falls is very flowing at this time. The sound is amazing!

These beautiful falls are easily viewed, even from the car. They a right off the main road through the town. The roar of the falling water is particularly impressive this year, as opposed to the relatively calm summertime experience. The short, easy walk to the foot of the falls makes this attraction most accessible.

The water fall sits in the middle of the town, and between two houses. It's difficult to find a parking lots in front of the fall (basically, no parking is permitted for all time). We parked at the corner one block away from it. It's Sunday so there're no meter parking required. Admission is free. We took some pictures and... More

We were in the area and decided to pop by Montour Falls. As we had hoped they were really running and beautiful to see. It's an easy walk to the edge of the falls area and worth a stop if you are nearby.

No hiking required to get to this waterfall! I believe it's 168' tall, so it's not a tiny one. We also enjoyed walking around a few of the nearby streets and seeing some of the homes from the late 1800's.

This waterfall sits in someone's backyard as you drive through town. It's worth a stop when you are visiting Watkins Glenn.

If near Watkins Glen, this waterfall is a must see. Located in Montour Falls, it can be easily accessed from the road. The hiking distance, about 100 or so feet. This will take you the viewing area, which is across from the falls. There are no other viewing options for the waterfall. This tall waterfall is very impressive. It really... More
