This is a beautiful beach. Free parking! Definitely plan to return and maybe even plan a 2-3 day trip. Be advised that you want to get here early to get a good parking spot and beat the traffic. The parking is free but the lot gets a little full later on in the day on a busy weekend. The drive... More

Clean, quiet, public bathrooms, free parking. Volleyball nets were up, kites, boogie boarding. Perfect family beach. Must be able to climb over a large dune to access the beach.

This beach is worth the trip no matter where you are in the Hamptons. The sand is soft and powdery-white, the waves are awesome (kids loved it!), and parking is free. It's all the beauty the Hamptons have to offer without the hype. There are bathrooms just across the street, and a supermarket as well for getting a good lunch... More

The Atlantic is about 6 shades of blue here. Most of the beachgoers are families. Lots of umbrellas, people reading, kids playing Spike Ball, Frisbee. Public bathrooms are not too bad!

This is the first beach you come to on the right hand side when you drive in to Montauk. There's free parking and a long stretch of beach. That's about it. Sand is soft, waves get a little rough in the afternoon, and the only other recreation in the area is a volleyball net. That being said, what more could... More

The beach is clean. Friendly atmosphere. Plenty of restaurants in the area with good food. Commuting can be difficult to the east end of long island due to having only a single lane for several miles but it's worth it.

We were visiting Montauk for a few hours and wanted to sit on the beach to eat lunch. There is limited parking and public beach access so Kirk Park provided an excellent opportunity to park and access the beach directly over the sand dune in front of the parking lot. The beach is wide and long and there are lifeguards... More

We took the kids for a long walk. Beautiful scenery, including sunset at night. The beach is popular with locals and tourists. Lots of dog walkers too!

A lot of beaches in Montauk require you to have a permit. Kirk Beach allows you to park in the lot , equipped with bathrooms and IGA next door to shop and grab ice for your cooler along with some goodies to enjoy while hanging on the beach. Great time at the ocean is always nice when you don't have... More
