It'd been 20 years since I'd last visited Montauk and Second House Museum had not been there back then. This museum is a treasure. Lawrence the developer and curator of the museum is amazing full of knowledge and history. The museum has a simple but flowing layout to help teach about the different phases of the lives and history of... More

The experience of visiting the Indian Museum in Montauk exceeded our expectations! The creator, Lawrence, gave us a private tour with a passionate & informative history lesson that left us so appreciative! It was really cool to learn what brought him to create this lovely museum. It's a must see in my opinion while in Montauk!

Although the Second House appeared to be closed when we recently visited, we enjoyed visiting the Indian Museum in the rear so much that we returned a second day with one of our grandchildren. Although this museum is very small, the docent was a storehouse of information and it was interesting to learn some local Indian history unfamiliar to us.

Kinda cool to walk around a bit. There are a few different areas to walk to on the grounds. They were reconstructing something while we were there.

While on my vacation i thought i would visit second house. I found it intresting. I was the only one on the tour. It is important to keep history alive.

Nice visit, but quickly lost the kids interest. Not many interactive exhibits at all. Could use some things to attract the younger ones.

This is a good museum for the family. They are trying to raise money for a native american museum as well. I hope they open it soon. So much history in this town

First time I visited the grounds was during a craft fair and the beauty in July was amazing. If you have not visited this as of yet a person should as it is pleasant to walk and view the grounds, besides the house (museum) History needs to be kept alive.
