About
Montauk Parasail is located on the eastern most tip of Long Island and is the summer destination of many. Come unwind and enjoy this scenic area filled with restaurants, hotels, whale watching, and water sports such as parasailing! Take a private charter and see the sunset or sunrise, or dare yourself to enjoy our high ride parasailing over the beautiful Montauk waters. Montauk Parasail is located at Star Island Yacht Club. There is a Free Hop-on, Hop-off bus service that rides the Montauk Loop and stops daily every 30 minutes at 10 key stops in Montauk! One of those stops is the Montauk Yacht Club right across the street so pop on over! Parasailing is for all ages, and you can stay dry or choose to get wet, the adventure is up to you!

An amazing experience, the crew was fun and eased the nervous tension, making the daring 1000 foot parasailing a blast. The crew was also professional and went way beyond their duties to make sure everyone leaves with a smile on their face! I recommend this to everyone visiting the area, the views were breath taking and nothing short of amazing

Joe and Connor were amazing! So nice, so professional, so funny! I completely recommend this activity if you are in the area. Such a fun experience to share with your friends.

We love taking the kids and out of town guests to Montauk Parasail to go Parasailing. We typically fill the boat to its capacity of 12 guests of all ages. This activity is great for the entire family. Our 9 year old was a little nervous at first but she absolutely loved it and was not afraid at all when we were up there. She can't wait to do it again. The boat is super comfortable and it is a wonderful way to experience Montauk in a way you can't with another activity. To be out on the water and see the beautiful beaches and pristine coastline from the boat is such a treat. Being able to see the Montauk Light House, beaches, lakes, bluffs and radar tower from above is amazing. We highly recommend taking a trip out with Captain Joe and his wonderful and professional crew and soar in the sky and dip your toes in the sea! We know we will definitely be back again for another whirl again this summer. Thanks Joe!

I highly recommend parasailing with Captain Joe and his mate! They make you feel comfortable and safe! It's a thrilling experience. The views are amazing! Don't forget to take a dip!

Don't miss out on an experience to go parasailing while being in Montauk . You get a great overhead view of Montauk that you won't be able to get any way else while feeling the adrenaline of flying in the air from a back of a boat. Highly reccommended, if you're considering going, you should go don't miss out.

This was such an amazing experience. The Captain Joe and his mate are absolutely amazing people and made the trip totally worth it! HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend for anyone and everyone looking for a great adventure, and a spectacular view of the beautiful Montauk!

A great experience. All the staff were friendly and made it a trip to remember!
We considered taking my in-laws at another time but it might be a bit too bouncy for older folks.

I was nervous going on the trip because of my fear of heights, but the view from the sky was breathtaking! It truly gives you time to relax and just enjoy what's around you. Once you're up in the sky, theres a beautiful silence that you can't experience elsewhere. Highly recommend doing this!

Is there a weight limit ? Also, can you tell us how long the ride takes and how long you are up in the air?

The website says the weight liit is a combined 425 pounds. The whole trip is about an hour and a half. So it depends on how many people are on the trip I think.

Our state of the art CWS Ocean Pro 31' parasail boat is USCG certified for 12 people per trip. We do not have a age minimum, but feel that to actually go parasailing we recommend at least 4 years of age so they understand the very basic instructions. We have all the safety equipment needed to adhere to the strict standards of not only the United States Coast Guard, but also the to adhere to the parasail industry's standards of ASTM.
