great family ride, especially for NYC recreational family bikes. The path is smooth, last stop on the Harlem Valley Metro North Train. About 45 or so to Millerton. Once there, there are 3 or 4 antique shops and two restaurants that are very good.

Many people also like to ride bikes there, but I prefer any one of the many low traffic roads in the area for riding my bike (with some hills, too). But this is a great place for running, and during the summer it stays fairly...More

This is your typical rail trail path - fairly level wide enough for single lane in each direction. The good news is that on a recent weekday, we ran into very few people! There were some pretty views, and we saw some wildlife including swans...More

A must for anyone with or without a car. To access without a car, take Metro North to Wassaic. The trail picks up right off the parking lot.

A great trail to spend the day on and enjoy the weather. It connects two very quaint towns that add charm to the area. My favorite part about this trail is that it isn't too crowded which gives you the quiet to enjoy the nature.

Great trail. Lots to see. Beautiful vistas. Farms, ponds, have been 3-4 times now or a bike ride. Informational signs along the route are fun and provide some history of the area.
