We went to a wine tasting at Millbrook Wineries. The person leading the tasting was funny, informative, and engaging. We had a great time tasting the wines and enjoying the grounds even though it was raining. They had some brick oven pizza outside the day we went and it was delicious. Will go back when in the area.

Although a long drive to a rather remote setting, when you turn into the driveway of Millbrook Winery you can’t help but be in awe of the beautiful grounds. We did a wine tasting with Justine and she is so friendly and knowledge, a delight...wine is delicious and property is beautiful. Highly recommend.

Really amazing winery at tail end of the summer. Great tasting . Little bit disappointed with many customers bringing unruly dogs. If they are going to attack the wine stewards keep the furry four leggers home. Nice wines great history with I ❤ NY. The jazz band and nice food fixings were delicious !!! Would be back again. Bought a few bottles for the memories. Awesome scenery. Thank you

My husband & I had a wine tasting September 29th with Tom. He was GREAT! Very knowledgeable & answered all our questions. We have been to CA, WA, OR & GA visiting vineyards. First time in NY & we like ALL the wines so much so we ordered two cases to be delivered to FL. I would highly recommend this vineyard. It rained so did not get outside experience but we will return. Thanks Tom for a job well done. Jill & Pierce.

Such a beautiful, peaceful place to enjoy some wine. The grounds are grand and spacious with seating and tables. The staff are pleasant and talkative with great suggestions. Loved the shop of wine accessories too. Great selection.

We enjoyed a delightful afternoon at Millbrook winery. We did the standard wine tasting and had a very informative gentleman lead our tasting. The wines were very good and we even purchased three bottles to take home. The grounds of the winery were beautiful. After we completed our tasting we purchased 2 glasses of wine to enjoy on the terrace of the winery. Our visit to the Millbrook Vineyard and Winery was a highlight of our trip to the Hudson Valley.

THE NIGHTMARE WEDDING EXPERIENCE: we will say that this vineyard is a gorgeous venue for a wedding if it only weren't for their rude and unprofessional staff. 8 months after our initial consultation and agreement, Millbrook Winery managers went back on the agreement laid before us during our initial conversations. Their wedding contract to begin with is super vague and does not cover most their supposed word of mouth policies.

To make a long story short, 1 month before our wedding the hours of operation changed for the day of the wedding without informing us and we had to change our hours after having sent out invitations. They made us change the location on the property where our ceremony and reception were going to take place because of an event that they were holding that day that we were also not told about. We had to drive up there during a work week to settle this and made it work, but the managers were not at all concerned or sympathetic to the amount of stress they caused us. The day of the wedding, they argued with our caterers over prearranged arrangements made with their manager. A manager was on site all day and at the end of the night, the manager dismissed the caterers as soon as the site was cleaned and met their standards. We went off on our honeymoon only to receive emails with pictures of garbage strewn about their vineyard. They complained that the caterers left without cleaning. I called my caterers and we reiterated that a manager was on site the day of and the site was not left like this. They disregarded my statements and emailed me back that the caterers had 2 days to come and clean. They would not answer or return phone calls. Mind you, we were on our honeymoon. I put a stop payment on the deposit because this was not being resolved in a civil fashion by getting to the bottom of what exactly happened that night through conversation. IT seemed as though they were messing with us. Without saying, they attempted to take the security deposit 1 day later and stated in an email that they got tired of seeing the mess and cleaned it up themselves even though they gave us 2 days to get it cleaned. So this was an obvious game they played to hassle us. The stop payment was made in Mexico and went through in time. I never heard back from them. Good riddance to the folks at Millbrook Winery.

I just cook for my family home cooked meals each night. Nothing fancy.
But this was the worst food I’ve had in a long time & I could cook better. The only thing I would say is the setting of the winery is beautiful. A couple of the wines were good. But food terrible.

We are very sorry that you did not enjoy the food for our Bluegrass and BBQ event. We pride ourselves in providing guests with quality events and offerings, should you or your party have approached any of our event staff members at the time, as we would have done our best to make it up to you during the event. The winery itself does not produce the food, a local caterer does. We have used this particular very well-rated caterer multiple times in the past and this is our first complaint. We hope you will give us another chance and visit again to try a greater selection of our wines. We would be happy to extend a complimentary tasting to you and a guest if you would not mind contacting us directly.

Took a change that there would be room for a "day of" wine tasting and we were rewarded. The tasting was fun and informative but more importantly was the quality of the wines. We ended up joining the wine club and took advantage of the 15% two case discount. Had a very nice time chatting with Jake, the manager and have some fine Cabernet Franc Reserve to try at home. The wine club is a very good deal if you enjoy wine - lots of perks and no fee to join!

My wife and I visited with another couple on a Friday afternoon. The winery has a very nice view overlooking a large vineyard. The tasting room is very nice with a lot room to do tastings. You have a choice between a Reserve tasting for $25 each person or $12.50 for a standard tasting. The wines are selected for you. The fees are too high and of the 6 wines I tried, I would not have selected 4 of them! You can get better wines in the Finger Lakes and pay $3-$5 for a tasting and pick the wines you want to taste. The wines we tasted were average and all 4 of us all had the same opinion. The wines were ok, but nothing stood out. We did not buy any wine. I would give this winery another shot if they lowered the tasting fees and let you choose what you want to taste. Jacob did a good job with the tasting and was very friendly and explained the wines very well.
