It’s a lovely way to gawk at all the houses and scenery around the lake. My mom got a bit queasy from the wakes of other boats so we recommend motion sickness meds for those that suffer it. Otherwise it was a great day.

Nice afternoon (about 1-1/2 hours) on the Chautauqua Belle Steamboat. Service was good, friendly staff. Plenty of seats to stay upstairs. The only negative I can offer for our trip was that the history of the lake and area was not "synched" with where the...More

We are so glad to hear that you had a great time. Some of the narration is specific to certain areas of the lake. Since we have just started going in and out of the Bemus Point dock and we are adding more docks each...More

I was on the Chautauqua Belle previously with a bus tour and enjoyed the day so much that I suggested to other friends that we ride it this summer. We all purchased Groupon tickets early in May for the August 20th 3 pm trip. Checking...More

This was a truly enjoyable experience. A slow ride on a steamboat on the picturesque Lake Chatauqua. There was a narrative giving you the history of steamboats, and the history of the area. When we got near the area where the mansions are, the history...More

I'm sure they told us during the narration but I don't remember. I don't see this information on their web site or Facebook page, but they imply that it started the cruises around 2009. You could email them.
