There was a birthday party happening during our escape room. We had to literally walk through the birthday party to get to and from our room (not awkward at all). For the entire hour, we listened to a group of boys screaming right outside the door - even got to hear their lovely rendition of "Happy Birthday." It was impossible to concentrate. Also, you are only allowed three hints, unless you want to follow them on instagram. So when we had used our three hints and were stuck on a puzzle, we completely wasted our last ten minutes. Not worth our time or money. We have done many escape rooms, and this was one was definitely a disappointment.

Exceptional staff (Angie & Briana) and GREAT escape rooms. I booked my daughter’s surprise 30th Bday party and the process was flawless from beginning to end. They were so patient and responded quickly with any questions I had. The night of the party, the staff was AMAZING and extremely helpful. I can’t say enough good things about them. Oh and the candy room made us all feel like kids again. Great addition.

John and Vanessa were great hosts and facilitators. We went with 4 kids to the sweet treats room and had a lot of fun. Kids were able to participate and move us through the puzzles. Highly recommend as a fun activity and since it was just us, it’s a good pandemic activity too.

I only did one of the rooms, and it was alright... But it paled in comparison to rooms I've done in other cities. And I expected Long Island to compete with the best...
But the room was totally doable for the newbies in our group. And it was a good time. Not quite a true escape room either, more of a puzzle room. Beat the game and you get a "you win" type sign on the screen.
Overall, not a bad experience, but next time I'll try another place next time.

My cousin and I had the best experience, we had an amazing time. Even though we did the hardest room there, the cabin in the woods, we made it pretty far. I would definitely go back there and try the other rooms! All the staff was so helpful and very nice. Thank you just escape Massapequa!!!

Did an escape room yesterday for my friends birthday. We decided to do the hardest one which was the cabin in the woods. It was sooooooo cool. I have been to many escape rooms but none as immersive as this one. Already scheduled another time to go!!!

6 friends and I completed the Massapequa Massacre room last night and we couldn't have done it without the help of our amazing game masters Ryan and Ashton. Ryan was especially helpful and had such an amazing personality. He interacted so well with our group! We did need all our clues and a bit of flexibility on the time, but we were able to successfully escape from this room. The entire experience was great and we had an amazing night out!

We had an awesome time. Angie was a lot of fun. I am sure she had a lot of laughs at my family. We will definitely be going back again. Everyone there is extremely welcoming and friendly thank you for making our Saturday night fun.

I've been to Just Escape twice with friends, and both times we had a fabulous time. Granted, it depends on whether your friends are a fun bunch, but if they are and you can work as a team, you'll not only escape but want to keep coming back. I did the Underworld room and the Pirate room, and I'm proud you say we escaped. (Yay!) The staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is a bit tough, because the lot is small, but there are usually spots on our around the block.

If this was your first escape experience I think you would enjoy it greatly. However, we had been to one before that I think was organized much better.
When we first arrrived, there was a group leaving who was debriefing with one of the employees and they were discussing crucial aspects and tricks of the game and it was quite audible. (Thankfully not our room)
When we were in the room many items appeared damaged (probably from others who didn't follow the rules), but still it made it seem a bit haphazard. There was a group who was doing the room in the dark next to our room and for most of the game all we heard was them screaming which was quite distracting.
Lastly we asked for clues a few times but twice the game master gave us clues that we had already uncovered. We found out later that there was a shift change or something and the person who came in second wasn't up to speed on what we did so far. Maybe in the future there could be a sort of checklist for the game master to use when supervising the game which could prevent this on the future.
Overall not a bad experience, but I've been to escapes that were organized better.

I believe it says it on their website. Every room is different. I've done 3 and have never had to share. Most rooms are for 6 or 10-12 people.
