Grounds are a great place for a walk/wander--old mill with waterwheel, adjacent to a pear orchard. Did not visit the museum.

The Gomez House is a “blink and you missed it” destination. I had visited previously and decided to check in again while traveling the 9W in the Hudson Valley. Outside renovations were evident upon arrival. It is a quaint setting with a lovely outside area....More

The guided tour was led by Richie and it was excellent!!! Richie was incredibly knowledgeable and had so many good stories to share. He was very welcoming and engaging and made the entire experience a great one for my family. The house is really fascinating.

My husband and I were the only visitors for the 10:30 tour on a Wednesday. Our guide, Ritchie, was friendly, welcoming, and full of information about the 5 owners/occupants of this 1700s home. There was an introductory film which covered the background of the place...More

Hours are limited so if you want to see the interiors, check ahead. It certainly wasn't open at 8 AM on a Wednesday morning, but I found my hour spent here fascinating. The stream, the Mil House, the main building, the woods, the sound of...More

The Gomez Mill House is a little known jewel in the Hudson Valley. The oldest extant Jewish Homestead, 17th century, home to a Revolutionery War General,a pioneer of the American Crafts Movement and a suffragist. The bounty of America is celebrated here.
