Where I live and also where I work. Not just "a beach town," as it has a lot of the things a small city -- it's one of two cities on Long Island -- would have. Festivals, restaurants and bars, ice skating rink, movie theater,...More

Just the perfect stroll. 2.2 miles of paradise by the sea. Watch the sunbathers or just admire the view and the buildings. There is always something unique going on at the Boardwalk!

Our beaches are simply beautiful The sand is soft and our waves simply perfect. Our boardwalk now has choices of so many place to eat and rent a bike or just sit and commune with nature. Visit Long Beach

What an amazing place! The day was perfect that allowed us to go for a stroll in the company of runners, bicycles and scooter ridders, with a very nice vibe. The beach is very pretty filled with music, volleyball players and even surfers. We sat...More

Yup! The subway doesn't go to Long Island but You can just take the Long Island Rail Road at the Jamaica station to Long Beach. It takes about 40 minutes.
