This was the BEST wine/cider tasting on our visit! Kelsey, our wine expert/server was incredibly knowledgeable for a young lady. Kelsey explained EVERYTHING about our choices to us whereas the other wineries/cideries we vistied simply set our choices in front of us & left.
All we sampled were very good & I'd highly recommend this establishment.

We treated ourselves and hired a driver to do a day on the Seneca side of the FLX's. Before we headed out we consulted and had a few wineries we wanted to go to and we left some of stops up to our driver and Idol Ridge was our first stop, his suggestion. We ordered a flight to share and took it outside to sit and enjoy the view. It was a nice leisurely visit, not nearly as busy as a weekend or pre COVID for sure. We did some comparison and tried some of the reserve skin fermented wines along with Carmine and Sapervai. They have a bigger shop to browse if your looking for some treasures to take home. It was nice to visit. They give you coupons to use towards a wine purchase. Nothing really stood out for us. We did not make any purchases but it was nice stop.

Beautiful winery with a gorgeous view of Seneca Lske. We had the best wine tasting with Nick!!! He was so knowledgeable about the Idol Ridge wines and meads!! That combined with his happy pleasant personality made for a fun time by all 6 in our party. Five stars.

Definitely a hugely touristy venue! We stopped in for a tasting this afternoon because the views of the lake looked amazing and were sorely disappointed. The tastings were very expensive, our guide didn’t know much about the wines, and they don’t grow any of their own grapes. The whites were decent but the reds were all oddly spicy- save your time and tasting fee!

A HUGE selection of wines from several vineyards plus a nice selection of distilled spirits. Wines are available by the bottle, glass, flight or as a slushie. A beautiful building and extensive gift shop complete the experience.

Right off the road a winery & distillery with flight options for a change from many of the wineries in the area. Cute gift shop and some covered and uncovered patio seating. Easy parking and kind staff. Cute loft like area to sit up too away from everyone if you need some AC!

Enjoyed sitting outside. You pick up your tasting that comes in a little bag with a complimentary wine glass and snacks. Loved the fudge! Purchased several bottles of the Sparkling Riesling.

The location and the views were great.
Service was friendly on arrival. We had to pick our tasting.
Our tastings came out in a paper bag; included a glass and 5 plastic cups with our flight. Some snacks and water.
Wines were below avg.

This was our first time coming to Idol Ridge and we will definitely return! It is located at the top of the hillside overlooking Seneca Lake and has a very nice large patio area outside with seats to view the lake. We did a wine and spirits tasting with Jenn and she was very friendly and knowledgeable throughout the whole tasting! She was able to make suggestions for our different tasting preferences and we each purchased a couple bottles. Great place!

This past weekend, my mom, sister, and I had a girl weekend in the Finger Lakes. This was the first time any of us had ever visited Idol Ridge. We're so glad we stopped!
Love that they had a winery and distillery! We tasted five or six wines each and enjoyed all of them. We also tried their vodka and bourbon. Both were very smooth. The staff (Aaron) was very personable and down-to-earth.
The prices were reasonable. I bought a bottle of Syrah (on the higher end - $24 - but had many wine that were in the $10-$15 range) and a bottle of bourbon (only $20, which I thought was a steal!). We will definitely visit again next time we're in the Finger Lakes.
