Lamoreaux Landing Wine Cellars was one of the many wineries that my husband and I visited during our trip to Seneca Lake. We wanted to visit this specific winery because we heard about the breathtaking views of the lake. The views definitely did not disappoint...More
This winery overlooks Seneca Lake with one of the best views from their tasting room. Theyoffer a broad selection of nice wines, from dry to sweet. Staff is very pleasant and knowledgeable as they guide you through tastings. A must stop on any visit to...More
We walked into this tasting room and were greeted immediately with friendly staff. Since it was busy we were guided out to a small outdoor patio and waited for about 5 minutes for room at the tasting bar. Our steward was very friendly, knowledgeable and...More
Lamoreaux Landing had always been my most favorite winery since they opened years ago. They had delicious wine, great views, knowledgeable and accommodating staff, a very pleasant and hospitable atmosphere. It was always worth paying a bit more for the fine wines. I used to...More

Great winery, AMAZING STAFF! The wine was excellent. It was getting a little busy near closing time and the hostess pouring the wine would walk over and re-fill my glass when she saw I was ready for my next tasting. We also got stranded with...More
This place has a bit of a stuffy feel to it but despite that, the staff were very friendly and it is dog friendly. They have an amazing view of the lake but are lacking a nice outdoor deck/space connected to the tasting room. The...More

Thank you for reaching out to us about visiting our winery - I'm happy to help answer any questions you have! Our winery is quite far from the shore of Seneca Lake, and there is limited public access to any of the beaches directly surrounding the winery, as they are mostly part of privately owned cottages. The nearest areas where there is public access are Lodi Point Marine Park (about 4 miles north of the winery) and Smith Memorial Park (about 6 miles south of the winery). You would be able to dock and put in at both of these locations, keeping in mind that you would have to walk from that location or have a vehicle prepared at the location to drive to our winery.
I would suggest other wineries to visit via kayak, but there aren't any that I know of with direct access on the East side of Seneca Lake, as the shores are quite steep, or privately owned. The only winery I know of that offers access is Miles Wine Cellars, which is on the West side of Seneca Lake.
I hope you find this information helpful, and that you are able to stop in to see us - via kayak or car - and take in our fabulous lake view while enjoying our wines!
