    Great full bodied red wines
Visited here as 1 of 16 wineries on our annual road trip to the Finger Lakes. The big negative was having to make and pay for an advance reservation. When we arrived there was no one else there. For $10, you receive 5 tastings: 1-their choice: white (which I don't drink) and 4-my choice. I tried the merlot, cab franc, and 76 west (2) which is similar to a Meritage. The 3 were tasty, dry, full bodied red wines. I especially enjoyed the 76 West. They also provided a carafe of water for the table. I will definitely return.

    Excellent experience!
George was an excellent tasting guide and asked questions to provide recommendations, both for wines to try and local places! We had an excellent experience and want to thank George for an informative and fun time! We didn’t find a wine we didn’t like here 😃

    Great Views and Good Wines
We stopped at Lamoreaux Landing while on a tour of wineries in the Finger Lakes. We loved everything about this place including the lake views, our server and the wonderful wines that were poured. The atmosphere in the tasting room is social and active. There are lots of people and activity and everyone is just enjoying being there. We especially loved the reds and bought 3 bottles to take home!

Consistently Good Dry Wines at Competitive Prices
The wines are consistently good and most are competitively priced. Yes, there are some wines that are more sophisticated than others. My husband and I have stopped there a number of times over the years. The tasting fee has increased over time and is now $10. You do get five pours, one pre-selected and the others of your choice. We made several purchases, including the Chardonnay Reserve, Gewurztramier, Cabernet Franc and Red Cuvee. They have a lovely deck, facing Seneca Lake. It is accessible, though the ramp leading to the tasting room is quite long and steep.

    Beautiful Wine Tasting
Phenomenal view of the lake as you have a wine tasting! The Chardonnays were in the top of our list. Margaret, who acted as out wine sommelier, was informative and made us feel welcome. Bought 2 bottles to take home to remember our visit.

    Absolutely a must!
Absolutely amazing experience. Impromptu stop and had the best host Silus. He was not only thoroughly educated about the wines, but made it a fun experience for us to try. Absolutely our favorite of the day! Ambiance is one of the best.

While a nice setting on the eastern edge of Seneca Lake, our experience was overshadowed by the supervisor in charge of the outdoor tent area. I came with my wife, daughter and dog to enjoy the outdoor area and each time I came to order glasses of wine, this woman cited regulations that negatively impacted our experience. The staff member helping us was quite friendly and helpful and was willing to give me a taste of the 76 West red before pouring a full glass, but the woman in charge stopped her citing NY law stating everyone must be "seated" to taste wine. We'd already been to multiple wineries and no one had enforced that "law" besides this woman. The second, and final, time I came to the bar was to order two glasses of the Gewurztraminer ice wine. The same helpful staff member poured a glass which happened to finish the bottle and indicated she needed to run inside to get a new bottle for the second glass. While waiting, the same lady in charge came over and said the lady poured too much. She took the already poured glass and spread it across two glasses and said that was the right amount. Apart from the supervisor, this would have been a good experience. We unfortunately have no intention of coming back since several other wineries have comparable settings and quality of wine and the staff have been far more accommodating.

Please except out apologies if any part of our staff made your experience less than welcoming. We do appreciate your feedback as we navigate new laws and regulations from the state and will certainly be more mindful of balancing that with customer experiences. Thank you!

Lamoreaux Landing has a very beautiful building for tastings, with a gorgeous view across Seneca Lake. It has the largest and best selection of wines of any of the wineries we visited. By sharing two flights, we were able to sample most of their wines. Our guide did an excellent job of presenting the different wines and answering our questions.

First off, the wines were some of our favorites on our trip. (We are usually dry red drinkers and The flights were reasonably priced and very relaxed.

I don't want this buried so let me say that Lamoreaux was hands down the best of any place we went in their adherence to COVID precautions. The spacing, limited seating, masked staff (who did it properly), modifications to the flight process... the staff and management deserve high praise for taking care of their guests and themselves.

Needs to say we were extremely impressed with the service in other ways as well. Our server was knowledgeable, prompt and friendly. But beyond that we observed the how well the staff was managing the groups drinking outside. They were anticipating and fulfilling needs of guests in a way that demonstrated a great deal of attention and thought. One moment in particular was the staff noticing a guest using an assistive device to walk and proactively having the ground floor bathroom checked and opened for them before it was an issue.

Top notch all around. Best experience of the week we spent in the region.

We vacation at Seneca Lake each year and this is our tenth year doing so. There are many good wines in and around Seneca Lake, however, Lamoreaux wines are in our view at the top of the list. The growing region is different than California, however many of their wines have a similar body with the unique flavour of the Finger Lakes region. I was pleased to find out they offer a great wine club and since we live two hours from the winery, we are also able to plan day trips for wine tastings. This is a superb winery. Jenna was terrific in explaining the differences in their wines and was able to inform us on how they compared to other wines we were familiar with. Don't miss the opportunity to stop in!

Took a long weekend trip with a few girlfriends to get away from the hustle and bustle. This was our second winery that we attended. Great wines, but the indoor space was a bit lacking. It’s beautiful when you walk up to the front of the building, but the inside set up is awkward. The view is beautiful and I loved the 42 North wine the best. They allow you to pick 4 wines and give you a sample of their Riesling right off the bat (I believe) which was very good. I will be stopping through again.

We loved Lamoreaux for many reasons. First of all their wines are some of the best I've tasted in the Finger Lakes. The tent set up outside is very comfortable with a view overlooking the lake. Our "tasting host" was exceptional. She asked what we wanted to try and poured us wines one at a time, unlike many other wineries that pour them all at once which results in them warming up considerably by the time you get to the last ones. She was very knowledgeable, and suggested some extra vertical tastings so we could appreciate the difference in some of the rieslings. This winery's experience pretty much set a standard that was hard for others to meet.

Excellent from start to finish! We stepped into a well-run, well-appointed and attractive tasting room and immediately recognized slight aromas of actively fermenting wine happening somewhere in the building. We tried both the semi-dry and dry rieslings, the pinot noir, merlot and the 76 West blend (a favorite) and they all impressed. Clean and elegant, each was an excellent representation of variety and the 76 West (their Bordeaux style blend) is something their winemaker should be especially proud of. The tasting room staff of Michael, Polly and Jenna were knowledgeable, passionate about wines and great fun to talk to. We will be back!

Outstanding. Ambiance, knowledge and product. All a ten.

Take the time to reserve a tasting and enjoy. The starter complimentary pour Semi-Dry Rieslings was outstanding, went home with a bottle.

On to the venifera reds; individually strong with tasting notes that were right on.

Shout out to Micheal, Jenna and Polly for making the afternoon the all around star of the Finger Lakes AVA.

Bravo, we will be back from friends.

The wine is good, but our experience left something to be desired. We were returning visitors after many years and enjoyed our visit the first time. However this time, the sommelier just poured our wine choices and moved on to another group. No attempt at any minor personalization to our experience. Despite this, we purchased 6 bottles of wine, as I said the product is decent. However, we were charged for 7 bottle which I realized before we left the winery. I went back to have the extra bottle of wine removed from the bill as it was one of the more expensive wines. I assumed everything was squared with refund. After I returned home, I realized the clerk removed the discount for purchasing 6-11 bottles. Basically, we had a lackluster tasting experience and got ripped off in the end. We will never return to this winery nor recommend it.
