My husband and I went on a Friday. It was a very windy day. You had to buy some food if you were ordering alcohol. We got the popcorn. I got a cab sav and it was not that good. My husband got the semi sweet riesling and that was very good. We got some wine and sat out back on a picnic table that overlooked Seneca lake. It was so windy my whole wine spilled over (which was okay since it was not good). We had friends who said the beer is very good there.

We came to Wagner's in mid-November while on our mini-moon. We visited 12 wineries on a tasting tour through the Harbor Hotel, and Wagner's was BY FAR our favorite! John greeted us from the very beginning with kindness and a sense of humor; he shared history about the area, knowledge about all the wines we tried, and a genuine passion for what he does. This was our second stop on the tour, and remained our #1 favorite for the wines, atmosphere and customer service. Upon returning to Buffalo, we have found a shop that sells Wagner wines and that's all we've been buying since. We will be stopping here first when we come back to visit!

Wagner was the last stop on our Finger Lakes mini vacation. My GF and I were glad we stopped. The place is beautiful and the icing on the cake is the breadth of knowledge John will share with you during your tasting. He is a walking encyclopedia on wine, the Finger Lakes, the Titanic, cooking, etc. Wagner is a must stop in the region. Make sure you try having your tasting with John. He is great! See you guys soon.

Had a wonderful time stopping in for a tasting with my spouse. Everything was excellent, but the Rieslings here were out of this world. In addition, our tasting guide John, gave us a wonderful overview of the history of the wines from their European routes all the way to the Finger Lakes. It was a real treat, and anyone interested in the wine region must add this place to their list.

My group of girlfriends made a wine tasting reservation here. It was hands down the best experience of our mini vacation in the Finger Lakes. Johnny was so knowledgeable and so much fun! We laughed, learned a lot and sampled the gamut of wines - red, white, dry, sweet...this is a must do!
