While traveling through New York and waiting to do a cruise on the Erie Canal, we discovered this place. In addition to it being a great find, we also discovered a GroupOn for it too. The lady who greeted us was very helpful and accommodating. We had a wine tasting with cheese and chocolate for two. It was delightful. I don't consider myself a wine expert by any means but I know what I like. In the case of this, it was everything. You can't go wrong by stopping in and spending an hour with these folks.

This was our first visit to the Flight of Five Winery this past weekend during the Niagara Wine Trail. We were very impressed. The winery itself is beautiful. It is in the old City Hall and the area is very spacious. The wines were excellent. Loved how they were all named after the history of Lockport and the canal. The bartender was very informative and kept us entertained. They also have a full bar menu. Will definitely be back.

We went to see what the Flight of Five looked like in winter - drained. So we decided to visit the Old City Hall which contains a tea room in front and a winery in back. Our visit to the winery was very enjoyable. The decor was pleasant, the wines were delicious, and the staff was cheerful and helpful. We tried the dessert wine tasting for $8 Five types were served in a cascade. Prices of the wines seemed very reasonable We enjoyed our visit and plan on going back.. (No fee to get in of course) Food is available at the tea room but we are saving that for our next visit to Lockport.

We've had Flight of 5 Wine and have enjoyed it a lot so while in Lockport we decided to check it out. It was hard to find since you have to go thru a restaurant (Stooges) to get to it. The counter person was engaged with other couples so we didn't have a chance to interact. Several varieties of wine were available for purchase as were some other items like jam's etc. We were basically in and out in 10 min. but will return another time.

A very nice winery in a beautiful building. My wife did the wine tasting and she enjoyed them very much, I'm a simpleton so I had a beer (coffee stout brewed in Ithaca, NY which was excellent). The staff was informative and friendly, definitely worth a stop. The kids (13 and 11) were bored, but we got them some food and there are a lot of chachkies to buy if that's what you're into.

Stopped in after our canal tour for a Flight of Five with cheese. Reasonable price & shared with my hubby. Enjoyed all the wines, Lock 70 enough to bring a bottle home, as well as a wedge of the maple bacon cheese. There are also some local jams, butters, and other goodies for sale too. The lady who served us was very friendly. We really enjoyed our visit.

Right in the old town hall building next to the locks. It's a decent wineries stop. Beautiful and elegant. A nice atmosphere with some great tasting wines and some nice staff too.

We visited six different wineries on the Niagara Wine Trail and this was by far the worst. First, our server came down the stairs to serve us while checking her phone and did not say hello until I did so first. Then we looked at the cost of the flight of wines. It ranges from $7-10 dollars for a tasting! My wife and I have traveled all over New York State tasting wine and I have never encountered a tasting fee this high. We did order a flight since we were already there and bad turned to worse when the wines were tasteless and nowhere near the quality of other wine makers on the trail. When I asked why the dry flight was so expensive at ten dollars for a tasting, our server replied that many people want to try that flight since it features some wines from other places! So not only is the wine here expensive - it is not even all of their wine! Unreal. This is too bad because the city of Lockport desperately needs a place like this to pick up tourism. However, please do yourself a favor and visit more worthwhile places

Located just across the canal from the Erie Canal Discovery Center, in an historic building (old town hall), this small winery makes very good wines from grapes they don't produce but buy from local producers in the Buffalo-Niagara region.
You can taste their 5 signature wines for a small charge. You can also taste other wines from the Niagara region.
The place is welcoming and the wines affordables.
I recommend you make a stop here when visiting Lockport.
