About
Arrowhead Spring Vineyards is a "Wine Lover's Winery". Our winery focuses on traditionally made, dry wines that are barrel aged 1-2 years. We grow Chardonnay, Merlot, Syrah, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. We can accommodate up to 6 people at a table on a first come-first served basis. We have a very large space with many tables inside and outdoors for a relaxing experience. Our patio is covered and has tables that seat up to 8. Appetizers, salads and light entrees are available from our kitchen, and ingredients are sources as close to the winery as possible. Bus and Limousine groups please note: We do not accept bus and limousine groups. Please respect this policy.

If you like dry reds and need a break from the sweeter wines of the region, definintely stop by. The Cab Franc and Cool Terrior are spectacular, especially the Cab Franc 21 18 barrel and the barrel aged Viognier, were a very nice surprise. They have a big space with nice nooks and it is kid friendly, yummy food to accompany the flights or glasses, plus a great view since they are on a small hill. Changing table for the baby too.

A last minute addition on our trip to Buffalo, by way of recommendation from my brother-in-law's coworker. He owes that person a round (or a bottle from Arrowhead!).

The tasting room is absolutely beautiful and the views are worth the visit alone. We went on a weekday and had the place to ourselves. An absolutely phenomenal time enjoying different samplers made all the better by conversation with the proprietor. Their emphasis on a more personal experience, with clear advice for "buses" to stay clear, only adds to my respect for what they've created.

My only regret was our decision to fly to Buffalo limiting our ability to take a case home with us. The Cab 10-80 and Syrah were instant favorites and, if I were a local, the Case Club would be a no brainer. Next time, we drive!

We bought a flight of four wines to share for $8. The tasting room was large with the tables spread out for Covid precautions. We ordered a panini and a large salad. We shared both. The salad was very generous so we were quite pleased. The winery is about 30 minutes away from North Buffalo. We bought one of the red wines that we tasted and a $5 tasting glass to take home. Our visit was on a weekday so it wasn't too busy. What a gorgeous view from the tasting room looking over the vineyards.

We had NO IDEA limos were not allowed for some reason. There were 5 people in our party. We were told we could buy a glass of wine if we would like but could not have a tasting. We agreed and two of us got a glass while the others were being helped to choose a good one, a man came out and literally told us we were not welcomed and needed to "put down our wine glasses" and LEAVE. We were quiet and respectful and were so confused as to why he was so rude and unprofessional??
It was a VERY slow morning in he winery and we were so happy to be there and support local its been a long year and had planned on buying wine. If we weren't going to be served or get a tasting i can understand that i guess but the blatant rudeness was just so un necessary

Thank you for your review. We have reviewed the surveillance video (12:31-12:39pm) and spoke with the manager who was present. According to staff, you did not identify as coming in on a limo, and you were not told that you could only have wine by the glass because you came on a limo. You were told we don't do tastings, we do flights of wine and wine by the glass. This is supported by the video recording. From what we can see, this was handled as politely as possible when asking you to leave, and I do understand this can be upsetting (again, supported by the video recording). It is not easy to ask guests to leave, it is going to "feel rude" no matter what and I sympathize with how upsetting it can be. You were not charged for anything during your brief visit - wine was poured, but it was not yet purchased. Your limo driver should have known about our policy because we have had this policy in place for well over a year and have communicated this policy to every transportation company. There is also a prominent sign at the end of the driveway that says “No Buses, No Limos”, just in case the particular driver did not get the message. Their service is to know the wineries, who accepts limos, who doesn't and which ones require reservations - you pay them to know this and to transport you safely. While I understand you are disappointed, the restrictions on limos and buses are not unusual at wineries and restaurants. In order to avoid situations like this, our policy is prominently featured on social media, including google, Facebook and our website and read as follows: “WE DO NOT ACCEPT BUS OR LIMOUSINE GROUPS “Please respect our policy and don't think it is OK to just show up in a bus or a limo. ” While you missed our policy when researching which wineries to visit, I am sure as you planned your trip you saw many other wineries had reservations required, or specific timeframes for limos, or "no limo policies". Unfortunately, not every driver takes this seriously, especially as more wineries restrict limo visits. You should be upset with your transportation company, rather than us.

My friends and I are case club members, so we visit every month. The staff are friendly, answer all our questions and teach us about the process of wine making. They are knowledgeable and fun to talk to! Love their red wines! We look forward to patio seating in the summer and indoor seating during inclement or winter weather. Sometimes there is even a puzzle to work on! The dogs are also entertaining! A must stop on any wine tour!

Wine is lovely, I purchased 6 bottles. Tasting experience was relaxing in a beautiful setting. Homemade soup made our day since we really needed some food with our flight of wine. This is the best wine and tasting experience during our week trip in the Niagara and Finger Lakes area. We will be back the next time we travel in the area.

We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. We got two flights of wine and a cheese plate then sat down in the beautiful tasting room that has tables and pews in a large, open room with exposed wood and lots of windows overlooking the vineyards. It was too chilly to sit on the patio. Each flight comes with a description of the four wines, but these was no interaction with the pourers and hence no opportunity to ask questions. We like dogs and there were two well-mannered ones in the building adding to the casual vibe. They did not interact with clients, they are only there for decoration.

On a road trip up to Niagara was just able to run in before closing to grab a few bottles. The staff (I believe the owners) were so friendly! The decor and setup is absolutely adorable and it's very open, super clean, and set up well to allow social distancing. Getting to the best part...the wines! Ice wine isn't really my thing but theirs is interestingly tasty. Absolutely LOVE the Cool Terroir. I plan to order a few more bottles and make a dedicated trip back to enjoy a full tasting.

Perfect! This vineyard is so lovely, it is a relaxing place to taste or have a glass of wine. We ordered caprese and a margarita pizza and had a tasting. We enjoyed the wines so much we brought some home. My favorite was their Rose ( I normally drink California rose, but this was better). I can say enough about this place. It was so nice. Thank you for a lovely day!

Arrowhead Spring was our favorite winery. They serve their tastings in flights of five wines, in nice glassware (not plastic). We did two tastings - one reds, the other whites. We enjoyed nearly all of them and had a hard time ranking our favorites. We took our flights outside to a lovely patio on a small rise offering picnic tables, adirondeck chairs, and a scenic vista of vineyards and trees. Looking forward to ordering a shipment to Florida.
