Beautiful lakeside park

Love this park for walks, runs and bike rides. Great paths to do all three activities. Including nice picnic areas with BBQs and shaded areas to hold for outdoor gatherings.

We visit this park often. There is a stretch of road for rollerblading, or biking, and also a separate path for walkers / strollers, dog walks. This is a great park for running or biking as there is no vehicle traffic at all for quite a few miles. From Thanksgiving to New Year's this park closes at 4[?] in order... More

If you are traveling in this area with your dog, great place to take your dog for a long walk. Check out the walking paths. Dogs need to be on lead but it is a pretty place to enjoy. There is also a dog park there but we did not have time to check it out.

It's always a great place for a picnic, a walk, bicycle ride, get togethers, even corporate events. There's never a lack of beautiful photo-ops!

Plenty of options for outdoor fun(just not in the polluted lake ;)). The playground for kids is great, skate park, bikes you can rent, running trail...etc. And don't forget to get some food/ice cream at Heids across the street after! Great park for all ages.

The park is quite large and has many areas to picnic. Long walking, biking trails. There are also playgrounds for children and a skate park for the older ones. There are many spots to just sit and have a peaceful, quiet time to enjoy the view and the great sunsets.

I love visiting the lake and walking the shoreline trail. It's a good way to spend a few hours all-year round (yes, even in the winter). There's a playground for kids, a skatepark, fields for playing kickball/softball, and a spot where you can rent all kinds of equipment. Definitely recommend.

I go rollerblading here a lot in the summer. The trails are really well maintained and they have bike and skate rentals on site. There are plenty of bathrooms and water fountains along the front side of the lake. The back side of the lake trails are really nice but much more desolate. It's a really peaceful place to go... Visitors from abroad and Americans from outside Syracuse love this scenic lakeside trail and its varied activities. Great for a leisurely stroll, jog, biking, roller blading, tandem biking and conference (7 person) biking. Park benches aplenty. There are also kayaks and stand-up paddle boards available to rent. BBQs and picnic tables and a free tram. Locals and visitors use this... More

This park is a true gem when it comes to nice outdoor spaces. There is plenty of room (several miles of trails) to be mobile whether you walk, run, bike, skate, etc. or be still on a bench or under a tree. There are picnic areas, a playground for kids, a skate park and a dog park. Bike rentals are... More
