Interesting museum all about Jell-o. Ruth, the historian there told us about the history briefly and then we walked around the museum. There were 17 original oil paintings made for Jell-o, which were nice to see. We also enjoyed the advertisements, but wished they were preserved better. There was a really cool taxidermied giraffe and also an area for children... More

This was an informative and interesting museum. Never really thought about where Jello was made. Guide took us to factory which is closed. There is also a museum in the basement of early means of transportation. Many quaint and nostalgic items representing Jello in museum store. There was no charge on this day due to a festival that was going... More

I learned more about Jell-O than I realized existed. Lots of displays of old product packaging. The history of how it began is told by a docent. A fun diversion on a long trip.

It is a small museum and everything is about well... Jello. Of course you can but Jello here and they will tell you the story of the company.

Visited August 2015. Didn't know what to expect. Was looking for a day trip from Buffalo NY. I was pleasantly surprised. The tour guide was awesome. I think her name is Ruth, She tells you a brief history before you explore on your own. She really knows her stuff. There was another visitor who wanted to share his knowledge with... More

Who knew that Jell0O was invented and originally made in LeRoy NY? When we decided to make the short trek from Rochester to LeRoy while visiting family we visited the Jell-O Gallery and were both surprised and delighted. Fun for adults and children alike, this converted home is chock full of memorabilia and artwork that will take you back to... More

Interesting place to visit especially if you or your family live Jello. A small museum with a lot of history. Good place to visit.

I don't even particularly like JELLO, but it was popular in the fifties and sixties when I was growing up. A friend and I visited today. I was pleasantly surprised. The first part was a guided tour, and our tour guide was excellent. Then we were left on our own to meander through the exhibits. I found them extremely interesting!... More

Okay, so often small museums go overlooked because they lack the thrilling exhibits of the newer bigger ones. Please do not pass this museum over. The ladies working with the LeRoy historical society are so sweet and kind and knowledgeable! Yes this is a small/tiny museum but it does have 2 floors. The main floor is where your Jello information... More

I took my grandkids there not only because they love Jello but because many of my aunts and uncles worked there years ago. My aunt and uncle moved to Delaware with the company. It was very interesting looking back thru the articles and history of Jello.
